I was watching Law and Order SVU on USA a few weeks ago and was completely and utterly disgusted with the racism in that particular episode. It was about a group of stupid, Nazi-worshiping, angry little white people that shot three little kids and killed one of them. I was COMPLETELY horrified at what I saw.

And the sad thing is, that's true. People actually act the way the people on the episode do. I was completely horrified at the names that were used. (i.e., the "n" word. "Spick". Stuff like that. I didn't appreciate the Jew comments.)

Ironically, two days later I was on YouTube watching a video.. I don't remember what I was watching, but some stupid, stupid racist had posted something very, very vulgar about Jews, saying that Hitler killed thousands of them and that that was a good thing. Sometimes I wish I had a YouTube account so I could go harass these people. This struck me deep because I am Jewish - though not by religion, by blood, and it's a ridiculously small amount (something like 1/32)- and I was completely... I don't know what I was. But it wasn't good. Something like disgust, only more extreme.

These are the things that make me despise being part of the human race, and what's more, even the teenage society. I can't stand it when people poke fun at people just because their skin is a different color. I don't get it. Without different races, we wouldn't have anything. We wouldn't have peanut butter, peanut oil, and half a million other peanut-related things if George Washington Carver didn't exist. We wouldn't have jazz, or blues, or even rap because those types of music come from African roots. We wouldn't have different religions (Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, or Judaism, etc.), and our world would be full of stuck-up, blond-haired, blue-eyed little creeps (I'm not saying blonde-haired blue-eyed people are all evil, I know several of these people - including my own brother). We wouldn't have different languages (Swahili, Yiddish, Russian, French, German, Polish, etc.). We would have nothing without black people, white people, Latino people, European people, Asian people, and any other race I may have left out, and I wish people would just get their heads out of their rear ends and get it through their thick skulls already and quit being asses about it.

If you're one of these people - and if you are, I have no freaking clue how you even got to my profile, much less to my journal, but you can turn around and leave right now and never come back, 'cause I'll whoop yo' a** come Sunday.
