When I woke up, I was in bed in another room. My ma was sitting in a chair next to me and the nurse Shelly was taking my IV out. She adjusted my ice packs on my face and changed the gauze in my mouth because I was bleeding a lot, and handed me some tissues because my nose was bleeding from where they'd put tubes in my nose. Yes, they could have just put them in my mouth like they normally do, but it was just easier for them to put them through my nose because then they didn't have to deal with working around them where they were working in my mouth. She said that it was time for me to get changed so she helped me to sit up but I fell back down because I was dizzy so she left the room for a while to ask if I could take Bonine, a motion sickness relief pill, with my pain killers I was going to be taking. When she came back in she told my ma that it was fine if I took that and looked at me like I was crazy, as if she couldn't tell from the needle issue, and asked why I was crying, to which my reply was, "I don't know." So Shelly left again, probably to Amy because when she came back Shelly said that it's a side effect some people get from the anesthetic. The good thing was that I wasn't nauseous at all. They said I would be at least a little bit, but I wasn't at all. I was finally able to sit up without getting dizzy and Shelly and my ma helped to change from the scrub pants into my gray PJ bottoms and then Shelly left to go get a wheel chair for me as my ma helped me to change into my "drip drop hip hop" frog shirt and put the long sleeve shirt that buttons up the front and matches my gray PJ bottoms on. Shelly had amazing timing because right when you were done with something or you needed something, she was magically there. She helped me into the wheel chair and then me pushed down a hallway I had seen earlier when I'd first walked in. She asked if the truck out there was mine and I said yes, but once we got outside I saw that my ma was pulling up. I couldn't tell the difference in car color until I was pushed past...oops. I was helped into my ma's truck and Shelly asked if we had any tissues in the car because my nose was still bleeding. My ma said that for once we didn't have any so Shelly ran back inside and came back out with some.
When we got home, I changed my ice pack out for two that were in the freezer and threw away the old one because it was all bloody. I went to my room and almost fell asleep on the bed when my ma came in and had me change out the gauze in my mouth. She put some paper towels, some tea bags, and a water bottle next to me and told me to only use the tea bags* if I couldn't stop the bleeding. I fell asleep and woke up around 12:42PM, exactly 12 hours since I had something to drink, and exactly 7 hours since I had gotten off the phone with Kyo.
When I woke up, I got rid of my gauze because it was no longer necessary as I had stopped bleeding.
Later that night I asked what I'd done when I was in the room after my surgery was over. She told me that I woke up a few times, looked around, and then went back to sleep.
That's about it :3 Now I just take my meds every few hours but it's hard to use a spoon @.< Just drinking out of a cup is fine though :3 Yay smoothies! I tried to take pictures of my face, as did my pa, but they don't really do my face justice... they're kinda... ehh... washed out >< That's what I like about my pale skin :3 But enough about this... I apologize in advance if I fall asleep on you when we're talking or something.. the meds make me tired ^^;;;
*the acid in tea helps to stop bleeding.
P.S. My luck sucks when it comes to opening stuff one gaia D: You know how the bag of win said that no matter what you get, it'll be worth at least 5K? LIES. I opened on and I got an angelic bed and those are worth NOTHING. I looked it up in the market place and there's one for 25 freaking gold D: LIES!!!! Gaia is a liar ;~;
Leave comments for gold and to leave your opinions!! And tell me if lime is too harsh a color for my journal ;~; I wanted something fun, but when it's in paragraphs like this, is it too much? Lemma know of any typos that I missed or anything you think isn't worded the best ^^;;
