its been a month since my surgery. The day i got home from the hospital was sheer torture. the car ride home was torture, if anyone is getting the surgery (calypso344's daughter, good luck) on the way home while i was in the car, it was bumpy, i suggest you bring pillows to cushion the bumpiness (my mom forgot the pillows). But after 3 weeks and a lot of pain medicine. (if you are given vicadin, take one at a time, that way you can monitor the pain, and take another one as needed.) Also, you dont want to take moltrin or other pain medicine besides the pain medicine the doctor gives you and extra strength Tylonol. (if you have a spine fusion) if you have a spine fusion and you take something other than Tylonol and your given pain medicine it can distrupt the ability for your spine to fuse (learned this from my doctor biggrin )
I cant bend over for 3 months, and i cant pick up anything more than 5 to 10 pounds. the way i bend is by squating. >w<
if yall have any questions, pm me.
