Summer Slam
It took place on August 17, 2008 in Indianopolis, Indiana at the Conseco Fieldhouse
The first match i am gonna review is Mark henry vs Matt Hardy for the ECW Championship. Matt Hardy won after Tony Atlas interfered and got Mark Henry DQed. Jeff Hardy came to his brothers aid and they teamed up on Henry for a double-suplex.
The second match to be reviewed is Triple H vs The Great Khali for the WWE Championship. triple H retained after a pedigree to Khali.
The next match is a bit "special", it is the epic return of the deadman The Undertaker. The match: Undertaker vs Edge in a Hell in a Cell Match The Undertaker won after a Tombstone to Edge. Then the undertaker literially sent his opponent to hell.
The next match is Montel Vontavious Porter vs Jeff Hardy. MVP won after a distraction from Shelton Benjiman.
The next match reviewed is John Cena vs Batista. Batista was indeed the better man at Summerslam when he Bastista bombed Cena not once but twice for the win.
Thanks to his win on the August 4, 08 episode of Raw. JBL Took on Cm Punk for the World Heavyweight championship. JBl got pinned by Punk so now is CM Punk is the true champ or will JBL call this one a fluke too?
the next match is a bit creapy. It's a winners Take all Tag Team match. It is Beth pheonix and santino Marella vs Mickie James and Kofi Kingston. And of course the winners were Beth Pheonix and Santino Marella.
The next isn't a match but an Announcement. Shawn Micheal's announce was cut short by Chris Jericho. In the end Jericho accidently punched Michael's wife. Retirement or not I have a feeling that this is gonna get nasty on Monday nights.
