In the Lagressa desert the two most known clans are the Cat and the Wolf clans, yet there are more than two. There are two more in fact. First you have the Frinfir clan and the Levi clans. The Frinfir clan is a clan populated only by girls and women. Frinfir are a race of people who have dragon blood. They can freely transform in to a dragon, and even when they're in their normal state the wings are still there. Now the Levi are a bit different. They live in a Giant oasis called the Leviathan's Grotto. They all live underwater, but they can also breath on land. They just prefer water over land. They are a fish like race of people who have webbed hands and feet. They have gills and tiny fins all over their waist. They're a very peaceful clan and they don't believe in fighting, yet they know the threat of war so they train their people in the art of the Leviathan's dance. The Leviathan's dance is a type of fighting good for both water and land combat. We're going to talk about the Frinfir today. This story takes place in a little home in the middle of the village. Actually it takes place on the roof on that home. A young girl named Lana was gazing up at the stars. "So many of them out there. Makes you wonder how Luna created them all." Oh yeah, I bet your wondering how the Frnfir reproduce. Thats right babies! Anyway the Frinfir do make babies the same way, with males, but how you ask! Simple really at the age of 16 a Frinfir is allowed to leave her home in search of a husband. They find one, get married, do it, and then have a baby. Well, what happens after that is a bit strange. Bare with me their customs are a bit strange. After having the baby you're still married, but you may never let your husband in to the village. You may leave the village to see your husband, but the husband may never come in to the village. Yeah, its a wonder how these relationships last. Yep, its a mystery. Anyway, back to Lana. "Lana!" "Hm? Oh Kendra, what?" Kendra is Lana's sister. Actually Lana has 10 more sisters. Jeez! Oh, yeah I forgot. All Frinfir babies are female. Yeah, thats a little heads up for ya. "Are you gonna sleep up there again?" "Sure am. The night air is beautiful. And don't get me started about the stars." "Yeah yeah. Just don't fall off." "I won't." "Hey Lana....have you slept peacefully for the past few days?" ".......no." "You don't think.." "I told you not to worry about it." "I just feel a bit uneasy. What if the Eternal...." Then Lana flapped her wings and blasted a quick gust of air at her. "Stop talking crazy. Nothing like that is going to happen. Now go back in and tell mom that I'm sleeping up here again." "Ok....sweet dreams Lana." "You too. -deep sigh- I can't stand this anymore." Later that night when her family was asleep Lana flew off in to the night. She took her sword with her. Frinfir can turn in to dragons so why would she need a sword. Well, because the ability to turn in to a dragon is only to be used as a last resort. Turning in to a full blown dragon takes a lot out of the person, and if you don't know how to control it well enough, the user will surely die. Did I mention Frinfirs have a very long life span. The oldest Frinfir to ever live was Queen Sofonia. She lived up to 564. And guess what she looked as young as a twenty year old woman. Oh yeah, the person a Frinfir has sex with also gains that ability. Lana was heading toward the Cat clan village. She was going over there to find her husband. Thats right Ms. Lana is 18 years old. She has been married for two years now. Suddenly a twinge of pain rushed through her body ad she fell face first upon the sand.
