Here's another appendix story:
It was the middle of the night and a nurse came to unattach me from the drip. So I showed her my arm and she tried to pull the end of the drip out of the needle sticking out from my arm. Yes, a lame description but if you've ever had to have the IVF, you'll know what I mean. So it was stuck or something, and she couldn't get it out. So, being totally smart, she decided to use brute force gonk She held down my needle with one finger, and used her other to try to wrench the goddamn thing out of my arm. I have never, ever, EVER felt such pain before. There I was, lying in agony, whilst she was twisting and pulling and trying to get it out of my arm. I swear, I must've lost consciousness for a second there. When she finally got it out, I was nearly frothing at the mouth. What ever happened to being gentle?! gonk And then, for the entire night, my arm felt as if it was on fire. Awesome huh?
