This entry is entirely based off something that Skully wrote up for me--without my asking him to, though I did hint he could post his own part--and said I could post. Given the state of Dragon and Nogard I did have to alter it just a smidge.

The Skull Kingdom pt 1

"Welcome…to my world."

Opening her eyes, Xangord found herself floating in a black void. Looking about, she saw Nogard and Dragon--also both in full human form as herself. As the oldest of the Triplets, Xangord suddenly was overcome with a strange feeling as she knew what it meant for Nogard to loose her powers and seeing that Dragon was badly beaten. From her dealings with her family, it took Xangord a few moments to realize what she was feeling was something called 'worry'.

For a Nobody who was not supposed to feel anything, Xangord disliked the feeling--but nothing she could do would dispel it.

As Xangord wondered where the three of them were, a voice said from a far off distance, "You are here at request of her Highness, Skull Princess Shalimar."

" 'Skull Princess' Shalimar?" Xangord asked, wondering what her niece had gotten herself into now.

Suddenly, a red glow emanated from the east. Turning her attention that way, Xangord saw six menacing warriors [1]--two of which were the two who kidnapped Xangord from her cell.

"You three are to come with us into our Lord’s realm where they shall be held until her Highness says otherwise," the one Xangord would later find out was named Rickar said.

"Who is your Lord?" Xangord asked as the red glow saturated the inky blackness.

In a sudden flash of bright red light, the red glow dissolved to reveal a scorched landscape with gray dirt and a menacing amber colored sky. The smell of rotting flesh filled the air. In the distance, a dark castle loomed.

Rather than answer Xangord, four of the six warriors created litters to carry Nogard and Dragon on while the other two stood on either side of Xangord. [2] When the nine reached the castle, the warriors set Dragon and Nogard down and then with the two that were escorting Xangord, the six knelt in front of the gigantic doors and called out, "HAIL TO THE KING!"

As the doors creaked open, a ghostly laugh echoed through the entire land and into the core of Xangord's mind. Fire and shadow burst out of the opening doors as moaning souls escaped and swirled about Xangord. When the spectacle cleared, Xangord saw the dark figure creating all of it.

He stood tall in his black armor adorned with skulls as fire poured from the eyes of his skeletal helmet. On his back were wings made of fire and shadow that were spread out wide and majestically. And in his hand was a massive hammer with the face of a skull as the face and a long sickle as the back. The man laughed as he licked his bottom skeletal jaw to all the way around the teeth of his helmet with his long black reptilian tongue.

"Welcome ladies," he said with a menacing smile.

Unimpressed with the theatrics, Xangord replied, "Oh. You. The Skull King. Should've guessed you corrupted my niece by that new title of hers."

The Skull King's instantly gave his traditional psycho face [3]. "WHAAAAAAAT? You weren't scared by my totally awesome introduction?!!"

"It's not all that impressive," Xangord sighed, scratching the back of her ear.

Spotting the unconscious Dragon and Nogard at Xangord's feet, Skully said, "Waaaaaait a moment. Something's different about you three."

"We're human," Xangord said. "Because of this, Nogard is nearly dead due to her lack of Inner Flame. And someone beat the crap out of Dragon."

Contorting his eye sockets into a sharp upside down V as his cheekbones expanded outward, Skully appeared to be holding something back. After a few seconds, Skully burst out laughing hysterically.

From beside Xangord, the still unconscious Dragon sat up with a rock in her hand and threw it at Skully before laying back down.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Skully yelled as his skull was knocked off his spinal cord.

Lifting her eyebrows, Xangord said, "Well apparently Dragon's not as bad off as I thought."
