The sun went down with out a fear
People laughing, people with cheers
The doors and windows close for the night
As the clock turned and stuck midnight
The shadows danced with the moon
Living and dancing to a strange tone
A girl appeared with a harp
Singing into people's hearts
Sweet dreams arose from the night
Her hair sparkled in the moon light
Her smile reached into people's dream
Making them sleep for eternity
Her song turned dreadful and filled with fright
Awaking the shadows dancing in the night
Her appearance changed rapidly as the moon turned red
She was a monster, a creature of the dead
She opened the door of all the homes
The children walking out the door
They followed her song into the cage
Stealing them away in the middle of the night
Some say it was a legend
Other says it was a dream
But the children were found once again
They were dead, floating down the stream
The lady will appear once more
Every year stealing even more
The parents flee but there's no escape
She'll find you and take you away
