Vampire
My Strategy:
And I wouldn't recommend posting at all in the battleground forums as that is an easy target for a kill. If you need to get more energy just wait or retreat to the Home Base.
In the end
Most of the time I went in for the kill, which is what vampires do best. It's better to wait for an enemy to be nearly dying and kill them off. Why? Because if you're biting someone, chances are they will see that you are killing them and that person(s) then retaliates against -you-. It's better to wait until you have a chance at the kill so they can go retreat into their hidey hole.
I kept my energy low and kept my health high. When I was given the skill points most of them went to my health (I ended with 240 health points). I would recommend that you have a high health of 200.
My favorite move was the "Bat Swarm" which I used frequently.
I almost never had multiple tabs open for the enemies. Never do this. You run the risk of sacrificing your life when you constantly attack enemies but give little precedence to your health.
I always had a window open for the main battleground to look at who was hurting me. I also had second tab open for any aid I may have needed. "Wall Climb", "Porta coffin" or "Flight" were used a lot if I was being attacked. I refreshed the page a LOT to check my health.
If I saw that my enemy had a high health and wasn't being beaten too much I -especially- loved to combine the "Wall Climb" and "Flight". "Wall Climb" makes it harder for enemies to hit you for 3 minutes. "Flight" takes away HALF of your wait time, so if you had 10 seconds you would now have 5. >;D
I used "Wall Climb" extensively and it has helped me out -many times- in the game. It especially helped me out when I was getting beaten by -9 people- and I barely escaped. DX<
In level 8, I rarely use to Exsanguinate since it's 70 energy points (but you get totally healed too). I would only use it if I knew my enemy would completely die from it (or if I wanted to overkill them for trying to beat me). This was only when I was not under serious pressure.
One of my major issues was my low energy count which didn't bother me since vampire's are weak on health. My energy was at 110 at the end (I only used one skill point for it, yeah, haha). I would say get your energy at 130-140 and you should be good.
If you are low on energy either wait until you have enough or hit the enemy with an attack with low energy or no energy ("Strong Attacks", though powerful, almost never work). I only recommend the last option if your health is okay and you have the "Wall Climb" option on ("Mist Transformation" can also help as that takes you off enemy's list for 1 minute but I am not sure about their retaliation list....but it is 50 energy points). You can try to use "Flight" if you can muster up the energy.

In the end
I used my skill points to rack up health points mostly, doubling my health.
I used 5 skill points on my defense (and at 5% each that is 20% defense but I wouldn't necessarily contribute that to success).
I only increased my Attack power by 1 (which isn't necessary since vampires are already strong).
And I rarely increased my energy (though that should have been increased a bit more).
Zombie--not done
Zombies....ARE SLOW. 15 second wait time? ugh. That is killing me.
Cannot aid at lvl 1
They have high health of 150 so that's good. Less skill points to spend on health
I think I'll increase my strength. Zombies have a long wait period so energy will be up a lot.
You can only heal yourself if you heal another player. Or you can take away another ally's health to restore you own.
One option to heal is to "Reanimate" giving you 25% health which only works if you're at 0 health.
Zombies help with getting INSTANT KARMA if your enemy kills you. What I like to do is reanimate and then hit the guy who killed me with a "Give Heart" which reduces their health points by 50% (but also reduces yours but since it's already low it doesn't really matter). That way when the guy looks at his health his reaction would be "WTF hooooooow?!" haha
Zombies automatically heal. Kind of like energy does. So waiting around will help your health but if someone is killing you and you don't know who it is (it's either human or dark elf. I'd like to think elf). Either leave or hope the other guy leaves to recover. haha
At lvl 4 you and an ally can gain 10 health each. AND "Invade Personal Space" Reduce enemy attack and defense for 1 minute, and do 10 damage. At energy 35.
With the zombie you really don't have to move around a lot. You could but you don't have to. you have the ability of "reanimate" to gain 25% health. So if you do die, you can get some health just to fire off a few retaliation shots. xd
150 health
200 energy
9 attack power (start out with 0)
5 defense power (you already start off with 3)
Mostly goes to energy and power. 3nodding
