My most favorite cat, Moon Flake died on Saturday between 10:00 am and 10:45 am.... My cat was 189 days old.... March 26th 2005- October 1st 2005... This cat was like no other... He wasn't snobby or anything. He would always sleep where you were most cold at night. He loved to play outside.... you'd click your tounge once while sitting down and he'd jump up and sniff your nose, then rub his cheek on yours. He used to sleep in my hair when he was about a month old.... I taught him alot of things... I used to sneak lunchmeat or something from the fridge for him to eat.... I have cried for him more than I have cried for actual people in our family... Moon Flake was so beautiful... A black cat with grayish-slightly yellow eyes and very very faint strips on his tail in black and deep gray..... He would purr always and I could hold him like and infant... He always trusted me and followed me to school. On the morning of October 1st, my little sister was bringing him home and his head got ran over by a car, but didnt completely crack... He died instantly but his nerves in his legs were twitching and it appeared as if he were trying to get off to the side of the road.... I cried for a total of 4 hours for my cat and will probably cry more later... I know you must say that he was just a cat, but to me he held my secrets and knew who I really was... We gave him a grave with a gaze ball, angel statue, pumpkins, tombstone, pictures, and nice rocks and we buried him in a box in the flower patch... He is buried with a note from me, his brush with the heart handle, 2 beanie babies, and a picture my sister drew of his mom and dad a long time ago.... I have 2 other cats but they arent like him... I have had family members die before and yes in very tragic deaths, but I hurt more for him because he was mine, he was my baby..... Moon Flake, I will always love you and remember you for all the sweet things you did.... Your personality is one that I can never forget.... heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart
