Omg...I have great news!
I'm starting a new job. And they have a vendor night, where we go to a banquet hall and walk around to tables and get to learn about products that are sold at our stores and we get free stuff. Well, I'm the only person with weird hair and oddly dressed so I was bored. Then this boy [absolutely gorgeous and really cute] walks in. He's oober tall, blond hair, pale, glasses...dreamy.
I thought I wouldn't get to talk to him, because I'm awkward adn I saw him laughing with a girlso I thought that it may be his girlfriend. But then he came up and asked me about my hair. And he is as awkward as me biggrin . We have like...maybe a 10 minute conversation about hair dye, and he is so cute, I felt myself blushing.
I didn't think I would talk to him the rest of the night, but I was happy that I got to talk to him for at least a little while. Well, I went and sat down at our store's table [we have assigned tables so when we want to eat we know where to go.] Well, I sit down with my dinner...then he sits down...AT THE TABLE RIGHT NEXT TO OURS. I'm blushing and feeling awkward by now. my co-workers are asking what's up and I told them...they all turn and look. Totally suspicious too. X_X
Well, I'm texting my friend, telling them all about him. My friend is encouraging me to talk to him. A quote is "Won't talk to him? That's one date lost" And I already wanted to tell him he was cute...but like at the end of the night so I would be able to just leave and not feel stupid. But my friend said that so I took a breath, went over to his table and said "I know this will sound awkward, but...you're really cute." He chuckled and said "thank you" I went and sat down, blushing crimson. My co-workers cheered for me, hahaha! Then this woman from his table came up and was like "Do you know him?" and I said "y-yeah" I was blushing so bad I was stuttering! She then put down a pen and paper and was like "He lost his phone, but can he get your number?" So I gave it to him. Then he came up later and asked for my myspace.
I'm blushing so bad. The girls at my table are giggling and asking his co-workers for info...and he and I are awkward.
But he promised to call.
I'm so happy I went. biggrin
