My heart was once made of ice
It was small and hollow with no love
But something wonderous happened
I met a person who changed it for good
Filled it with love and warmed it
Touched it and made grow twice its size
A tear rolled down my face
Not from sadness though but from happines
She made me happy when others could not
I smile now thanks to her and her smiles
I will be forever in her debt
It is a honor and a privalege to know her
