I've spent my time
With drowsy eyes
Just to escape
My nightmares lies
The twisted thoughts
Of a subdued mind
Bring forth creatures
Of a terrifying kind
They follow trains
of forgotten thought
and dig up memories
better left forgot
But they grasp the world
find reality
a nightmare awake
for me to see
And though I try
To stay awake
Another victim
Nightmares take
