It starts out with the main character Kazuki who is a highschool student that heads to school with his long time friend Kaori. On the way to school they stumble upon a tree that is growing in the center of the road. Curious Kazuki walks up to the tree and presses his palm to it. It turns to dust after he touches it and the dust swirls around them blinding their view so they cannot see. The dust becomes thicker and thicker and as Kazuki puts his hand out a leaf lands in his hand. All the dust becomes a swarm of falling leaves in the area soon followed by this event he hears a horn and sees headlights and is hit by a car. Kaori scared for his life screamed worriedly and called an ambulance. She climbed into the back seat of the ambulance with permission and rides with Kazuki to the hospital where he has multiple broken limbs. After an intense operation Kaori goes in to visit Kazuki in the Healing Room and is worried as she repeats. "please be alive" After awhile nothing happened but meanwhile somewhere else an evil plot is brewing. Kaori kisses Kazuki softly and somehow his injuries begin to heal. The deeper she kissed him the more quickly he healed. Soon he was able to stand and Kazuki was fully healed. Meanwhile an evil was brewing They wanted to get rid of Kaori who had the power to heal Kazuki from any injury. The doctor is Astounded by this remarkable recovery and doesn't know what to say. He didn't let them leave until after they had an X ray. After that they could leave. Kaori decides not to walk to and from school anymore as if it were to dangerous. She sat down on the bench by the road and Kazuki sat down next to her. Kaori had Kazuki call Kaori's mother and have her pick them up as he did so Kaori's foot started to be pulled into the muddy earth although it hadn't rained. She screamed and pulled her foot out. She asked Kazuki if he angered anyone and Kazuki just thinks it was a broken water main so he ignores it and decides to call the water department but before he could the ground was cracked and bone dry so it couldn't have been that although it began to rain just minutes later. Kaori was scared because the weather said nothing of it raining all week and the rain became heavier and heavier and Kazuki turned to see headlights once again. But this time it stopped and it was Kaori's mother picking them up. They get in the back seat together and ride toward their house but not much time passed before the windows were beginning to get slashed by some sort of monster. Eventually the window shattered and the car filled with dust and they felt themselves land onto some soft patches of grass. When the smoke cleared they were no longer in a car but in a meadow surrounded by trees. They were confused and wondering what had happened. They sat there for about an hour before a storm began to brew and they had to run into the forest. Kaori tripped and her feet are being pulled underground by the sand itself so she kicks her shoes off and runs. Kazuki lets Kaori ride on his back because he didn't want her feet to get hurt. So he carried her running through the woods and they notice the village in the distance they saw was not getting any closer. It was odd for they had been running towards it for what felt like an hour. Then they begin to get closer and when they get close Kazuki runs into an invisible wall of glass. Oh great they both had thought at the same time. Kazuki pounded on the glass over and over but could not break it but when Kaori touched the glass it melted away and vanished the storm got closer so they ran into the closest building. Then when they got inside it was merely dark and confined. The door shut tightly behind them. Kazuki reached around and found a door handle when they opened it they fell into Kaori's Room.
