Remember when you were young?
No responsibilities,
Carelessness,
The sweet sound of your parents,
Gently singing a tune in your ear,
Playing with toys,
No drama,
No problems,
No worries,
Clueless....
Now,
You start to find things out,
Finding out the truths,
The truth hurts...
Starting fights,
Puberty,
Decisions,
Stress,
Depressed,
Angry,
Feeling as if the weight is on your shoulders,
Crushes,
Loves,
Hates,
Arguments with parents,
Runaways,
Self-conscience,
Thoughts,
So much thoughts,
Trying to figure all this out,
You just want to end it all,
Gotta be strong though,
You know you gotta be strong,
You wish that everything was when it was,
You wouldn't have to deal with it,
But,
Sadly,
That's life,
Emotional roller coaster,
Of never ending events,
It's tough,
The thing is to resolve this mess,
Is to talk to your friends,
If their a bad influence,
And you notice it...
Don't take their path,
It would only make your life worse,
Drugs,
Alcohol,
They only numb the pain,
Not take it away,
Those things could take over your life,
Instead,
Find a hobbie you love doing,
Become an expert at it,
Whenever your stressed,
Just do what you love to do most,
That can benefit you,
It's not worth trying to make your life better,
With things that make your life even worse,
Don't be stupid,
You would not be proud of yourself,
Trust me,
Remember,
When the people you were friends with,
Took a different path than you?
Look at them now,
Take a long look,
Sure they may be popular,
Or some other things that don't matter,
Do you think their happy with what they chose?
Sure they may be now,
But probably not in the future,
Remember,
Your classmates from 5th grade,
So innocent,
Now their the people you hate,
You can't stand them,
Remember,
How you used to be?
Do you think your 7-10 year old self....
Would approve of you now?
