Will it be War,
Will it be Earth?
Who shall consume us all first?

I've heard the fighting,
I've seen the taking,
But what is worse
Is all the hating.

Bang! Bang! The war guns cry.
Soldies converge from both sides.
But what of those who are brothers?
Both are fighting one another.

Wars of terror in Iraq
And fighting over land.
This is no way
For us to lend a hand.

But now we move on
To Our Dear Mother Earth.
She who cares,
Who's given us Birth.

We hurt her children,
Plants, animals, and our own.
Now She will fight back,
And take all that she's loaned.

Global Warming,
Decline of resources,
Now we experience
Nature's true forces.

We need to quit,
Or it will be too late.
Death will find us,
He will not wait.

So will it be petty human wars,
Or those of our Mother Earth?
Now is the time to see,
What we are truly worth!
