NO I DIDN'T WRITE THIS



Ever since Kaleb told me the truth, I've been sitting at home, too afraid to go outside. I was about four weeks pregnant, but because I was extremely thing, the tiniest of bumps was showing.

"Davey, do you want to go out?" My mum asked me.

"I don't know."

"Please, I thought that we could do some shopping and get some lunch."

My mum always knew the best ways to cheer me up.

"Ok, I'll go."

"Great, get yourself ready then we'll go."

"What does Dad say about all of this?"

"What he doesn't know won't hurt him."

"It's nice to see you out of the house finally."

"Well, finding out about the baby and losing my boyfriend in the space of two days didn't make me feel all that good. I just didn't want to leave."

"Well you're here now. And maybe this will make you feel better."

"I hope so too."

We walked into the shopping centre and there we saw Kaleb and a bunch of his skater friends who really hated me.

"Just ignore them Sweetie."

I tried to, but the comments that were being shouted at me didn't really help.

"Aww, look. Little Davey's out with his mummy. Tell me Davey, is she going to be the mum of the baby, or is that your job." Kaleb cried.

I tried to block him out, but the tears just started falling freely.

"What's wrong Davey? All upset because you're ******** up."

"Davey, ignore him." My mum whispered.

"Hey guys." Kaleb began, shouting out to his firends. "Did you know why I broke up with Davey? It's because he was more of a girl than I thought. Because he's a walking freakshow!"

"What d'you mean Kaleb?" sniggered Jonesy, another of Kaleb's friends.

"I mean he's pregnant! He's a pregnant boy!"

People all around that area of the shopping centre stopped and stared at me. Kaleb and his friends just laughed at me endlessly.

Everything seemed to spin around me. Like the whole world was moving in fast motion. I ran outside and puked all over the pathway.

"Davey, are you ok?" My mum questioned.

"No mum, I'm not." I just cried into her shoulder. "He promised me that he loved me, that he'd never leave me, now look what he's doing. He just wants to hurt me all the time."

"Davey, listen to me. If he loved you that much he wouldn't do this. Yes I know he lied to you, but people like that aren't worth your time."

"Thanks mum."

"Tell you what, how about instead of staying in the boundaries of Grays for shopping, how about we go Lakeside."

"Sounds like a good plan to me. Thank you."

"Sweetie, if it makes you happy it makes me happy."
