Haikri: Agreed. Thank you Zirra-chan. I looked back down, continuing my work at a quicker pace. In about fifteen minutes, they were completely healed, except for a little discomfort from being bruised. I stood, and stretched. Zirra: Leave. Get out of here. You've drawn to much attention to me now. I do not wish to be discovered. I ran off through the seemingly simple tree house, looking for Ryunosuke. Haikri: Ryunosuke! Come here! A small wolf pup wobbled daintily out of nearby room and sat at my feet. Haikri: We're leaving. Ryunosuke: * Shiro. * Haikri: He'll be fine with our friend. Don't worry. I scooped him up in my arms, and found the exit, or the part of the roof that was cut out for sun, then replaced when it rained. I crawled up and out, and ran branch to branch, searching for Skye's mental persona. I got aways from Zirra to contact her. I didn't want her to ask where I had been. Haikri: * Shard! * I heard a rawr above me, and the rapid flapping of wings. The wind serged through the trees. A thousand "I'm Sorry!" 's went through my mind. I jumped upward on the branched, getting up into the treetops. I ducked to miss her spiked tail. Haikri: * Shard! Behind you! * She turned her neck and slung herself a round, her large eyes staring sorrowfully on my face. Haikri: * It's ok. I'm fine. Can we just go home now? * She nodded her head, and I grabbed hold of a spike on her neck as she bent forward, and swung Ryunosuke and I up inbetween two of the slightly higher ones beyond her shoulders. I tried not to focus on her sadness. I was trying to prepare myself for what was ahead. Shard: * They are worried for you. * A sharp jolt of pain sounded in my ribcage and I screamed. I leaned to the side, trying to relieve it, but it became worse. I felt cold, and suddenly warm. I touched my side. Bone. The rib I had healed punctured my side. It protruded two or three inches. I covered it my my hand as Shard turned back to see what had made me yell. I smiled, radiating happy thoughts. She gave me the odd toothy smile and looked back to the oncoming terrian. I huffed, slumping over to my right. Ovibously, my healing didn't quite keep me together..Ryunosuke shut his eyes, not wanting to see anymore blood. He didn't want to see me in pain. He shut his mind out of mine, and shivered. I tried to remain conscious, not forcing the rib back into place. I didn't want to puncture a vital organ I needed for later. Shard was moving at a considerably fast speed, and I felt like I couldn't get enough air to fill my lungs. Shard: * Another mile or so and we'll be there- Are you ok? * Haikri: * Yeah-just a little cut I couldn't heal. But could you fly a bit lower? I can't breathe right. * I felt her dive gradualy, then straighting back up. I breathed in the warmer air slowly, so I didn't shock my lungs at the sudden availabilty of oxygen. That would cause me to start hiccuping, which I didn't particually need in the current situation. The time flew by, slowly to me. I was losing too much blood- I was getting whoozy and nauseous. Thirty minutes passed, and Shard turned her head to look at me. I had my head over her side, vomiting up the rest of my heart and lungs. Shard: * Hold on. We're almost there. I'll try to go a bit faster. * I felt the increase in speed as I hit the spike behind me, making me choke a little and hold the bone in my side. My shirt was completely ruined now, the blood soaking in and stealing away the color. It dripped from my shirt down to the trees below. Ten minutes later, she descended into the clearing. I was jolted from the awkward landing, and choked up blood. I fell off her side, landing on the ground with a loud thud as I saw happy people rush to see me. I heard a scream, and Rei's voice giving commands. I saw Shard barrel over to my side, laying her head over me and pouring chakra into my body. It didn't help- I didn't have to strength to heal myself. I went unconscious, feeling cold as the left-over snow melted below me and soaking into my shirt.
I had breif moments of audiblity, but nothing worth remembering. I got the sleep I had wished for earlier in my mind, and of course I was greatful. But I had wished it not in this way...I questioned my will to survive- and saw that I didn't have to want to. Life went on whether I liked it or not.
I opened my eyes to a familiar room, as a beam of light for a nearby window stretched across the bed. Rei: You're finally awake.. I turned my head to left, seeing him sitting on the floor underneathe the window. I noticed that he seemed different now...his eyes had lost their crisp full of life look. But his body did not. He was more muscular now -- wearing his long sleeve shirt unbottoned, along with a pair of worn out jeans. He did not smile to me as he used to. Rei: I was worried for you. How are you feeling? He kept his eyes down at the floor, and I didn't understand why. I looked down and saw that from my shoulders down I was bandaged up loosely. A bump stil protruded from my right side. Haikri: ... Rei: I'm sorry. No one else knew how to do medical jutsu- and- Kusuri was away- and-and... He shook his head angerly. Haikri: I'm not angry with you. For that... Rei: Can I ask you again? I turned my head away from him. Rei: How are you feeling this morning, Haikri..? He said the words lightly, speaking as if I was a child who he was nursing back to health. Haikri: I suppose I am better than before. I do not know. Rei: Do you- Haikri: No. I will not forgive you.. not yet.. I whispered, touching my side gingerly. It was sore. Rei: I tried the best I could. I'll work more today..if you're alright with me..healing and being around you. Haikri: If Kusuri's here, there is no reason for you to be here. If not, then I suppose we have a truse. Rei got up gracefully, and as he left he called out to me. Rei: I will love you forever Haikri.. I can't live without you. I tried to ignore him. As he left, I sobbed a little, missing him like I missed Itachi. Still I could not find it in my heart to forgive him for rejecting me when I needed him. I feared that he had turned into a emotionless robot. It scared me- losing a part of my family scared me. I tried falling back to sleep, but I eneded up crying as I stared out the window towards the rising sun. My thoughts raged in my head, of choosing one man or the other, and how I had to give Itachi up for good. There was no way he would come back. A wonderful thought came back to me- I could reveive him! W-We could live happily ever after agian! Ryunosuke would have his f-father...! I clung to that thought, but realized that I would have no chance of bringing him back. I made it my second mission now- to visit Kabuto. And bring my love back from the dead. I descided not to find his body- it should be long gone by now. And I had no idea where he was. Skye: You know Rei would try to kill him. And his brother. I turned to see Skye standing in the middle of the room. Skye: Hey! Why are you crying? She walked over and brushed a tear off my face. Haikri: I-I J-just miss him...! I shook, and pain racked through my torso. Skye hugged me as I cried. Skye: I know what you plan to do. And I know you can't do it alone... I won't let you. And also- if Pein or Sasuke found out- Haikri: Then I'll-I kill the Akatsuki. I-I don't ca-re about h-his chakra.. I j-just want hi-m herree.. I sobbed into her arm. Skye: Come on. Get up. There's food in he kitchen for you that Rei left. I shook my head no.
Haikri: Don't let me live without him, Shard. Don't let me live. P-promise me. Help me..bring him back.. Skye: ... it's not a promise. But I will be with you. She lifted me up as I wrapped my arm around her back. Haikri: T-thank you.. -I love you Shard. Skye: ..I love you too Haikri. Don't worry. She smiled a little. Once I was upright, I stood up on the cold hardwood floor. I stretched my toes. I walked with an arm around my chest, walking oddly on my right leg as not to irratate the wound more. Skye walked with me down the hall and into the living room. I sat down gently and slowly on the couch, and Skye left to find what food was left for me. She brought out pancakes. He must've eaten pancakes everyday since I left.....I had noticed that the house smelled like them. I ate slowly- it hurt as I swallowed. I pushed the plate away after eating one half of the four provided. Skye pushed it back, but I got up, and made my way outside painfully. I pushed the sliding door open, and I was blinded by the sunlight. I made sure I didn't fall down the stairs. I walked carefully over to Sheryl's house, not but a few yards away. Her two remaining children were eating when I knocked gently on her door. She opened it, stareing at me sadly. She hugged me softly, so she didn't hurt me. Sheryl: The've missed you alot. And Ryunosuke's here too...I didn't tell them anything about him being a wolf pup... She whispered into my ear, then let go of my shoulders. I mouthed a thank you to her words as she invited me inside to see them. I stepped in cautiously, watching my feet. Makoto stared at me, then her eyes traveled back to her food. I noticed a long scar from her jaw to the bridge of her nose. Nadare: It is very plesant to meet you again, Lady Omnikage. How are you this morning? I was stunned with her speech. And even more at Makoto's strong silence towards me. Haikri: I am well..For the least of it... Makoto? Makoto stopped eating, staring at her mother. Makoto: May I be excused? Sheryl nodded her head yes, and Makoto left, brushing past me on her way to the door. I watched her leave in confusion. Nadare: She's been like that ever since you left...I'm sorry. Haikri: What's wrong with her? I turned back to Sheryl and Nadare. Sheryl: She's angry with you for leaving- and she misses Oruki very much.. Haikri: The scar? Nadare looked down. Sheryl: Makoto was forced to battle a Shinobi from the Leaf village. Fournately she escaped with her life, and that scar. I felt like I needed to apologize. Ryunosuke walked up to me, and brushed up against my leg. Ryunosuke: * Hello. * I smiled. Haikri: * Hello again musuko. I missed you. * Nadare? Nadare: Hm? HAikri: I want you to train Ryunosuke for me. With Kusuri's help of course. I know he's young, but He needs to be prepared for what's ahead. Nadare: I understand. I'll get him started on the basics today. I'll have him back here with us when I return from mine. Haikri: Thank you Nadare. I appreciate your help. Nadare: No problem. Silence rang out for a moment. Haikri: I better get going...I need to talk to Iyako and Kusuri. Sheryl: Oh, Ok.. See you later then. Nadare smiled and waved as I turned to leave. Haikri: * You stay with Nadare you understand? * Ryunosuke: * Yes. * I walked down the wooden stairs and my feet sunk into the icy grass. I walked towards Iyako's house, which wasn't far from Sheryl's. Yet it was still far to me. I heard a whinny, and hoofbeats behind me. I kept walking, determined to get to Iyako's at a reasonable pace. I grimaced at the sharp pain with each step. Haikri: Laurena.. A horse ran a bit past me then turned around, troting happily up to me. I held out my arms to her, and she put her head over my shoulder. Laurena: * It is good that you are returned to us. * Haikri: Of course. I've been needing to come back. I smiled as she backed up a bit. Haikri: Unfournately I can't hitch a ride this time. Laurena: * I have heard about that. * Haikri: Can I lean on you a bit? Or do you mind? Laurena turned, and wrapped my left arm over her neck. Haikri: Thank you. She blinked. Laurena walked with me until I got to Iyako's then turned to grazing and finding her brother. The door opened before I could knock. Rei seemed startled, and jumped off the side of the house in embarrassment. Haikri: Iyako! Iyako: AH! HAIKRI! I heard rapid footsteps, then saw Iyako in front of me, gasping for air. She hugged me tightly. Haikri: Easy- injured here! Iyako: Oh! Sorry! Are you hungry? Need anything? Haikri: No, I just ate. Thanks though. I just stopped by the say 'Hi'. So..Hi. Iyako: Well, I'm cleaning house and stuff, so if you or Skye need a room I have one. Haikri: Sure. I'll tell her. See ya. I turned to leave, but Iyako caught my sleeve. I didn't turn back. Iyako: He misses you. She let go, and I walked on alone.
I descided not to visit Kusuri today, since it was almost a mile walk there. I went back to the house, and sat on the steps. The clouds drifted slowly by, and there was a slight breeze blowing from the west. It was warm on my cold skin. Rei: Haikri... I looked backwards, seeing him in the doorway. I didn't feel like dismissing him. He sat beside me, staring at me. Haikri: You've changed. I said as I looked back towards the open sky. Rei: ... I know. And I'm sorry- I'm just sorry. He put his head on his knees. I played with a peice of his longer, shaggier hair, twisting it in my fingers. Rei: I still love you.. Haikri: I know. Silence ruled. He looked up, tears in his eyes. Rei: Please...take me back..I can't live like this anymore.. He reached over and kissed me and I tensed, not wanting him. He felt me relax, and then backed up. Rei: Please tell me you felt something..Please. I blushed a little, but I said nothing. Haikri: I like you. His expression brightened. He tried to kiss me again, but I put a hand between us. Haikri: But I don't love you. I love him. Rei looked down in sorrow and pain, feeling rejected. Rei: I- will do anything to prove that I'm better than him. I will be the better man- the one you had and the one you wanted. He muttered to himself. I got up and walked into thew house in silence.
PART 9 ((NEW LIFE))
I walked into the bedroom and crawled back into bed, trying to sleep a little. Sleep took me in graciously, keeping in its grasp.
I felt a hand shake my shoulder. Rei: Haikri! Get up! Hurry! His hand left me, and I sat up painfully. He was stuffing clothes into a bag, along with throwing my medical bag on his shoulder. The other bag he wrapped aound his back, wrapping the cloth straps around his arms so it wouldn't slip off. It was fairly small. Haikri: W-whas rong..? Rei: Here- He lifted me up off the bed and onto his back. He held my legs around his waist so I didn't get to strangle him. Rei: Hold tight- He rushed out of the room, and to the backdoor. I heard shouts as Rei struggled with the door. He looked back towards the front of the house in panic. He broke the door, flinging it open with all his strength and running from the house. Haikri: Rei!!!~ What're you doing?! Rei: Be quiet! The Village is under attack! My lungs froze, and my heart thumped faster. Haikri: The others- Rei: Safe- for now. They're running north, towards the Land of Lightning. Rei whispered as he ran into the woods, looking back and seeing shinobi persuing us. Shinobi: Stop!! Rei pressed on, moving faster and faster. I bit my lip, and the blood seeped into Rei's shirt. The pain was almost unbearable. I heard the whooshing sound of kuni being throne past us. Rei: I'm going to try to get them off our tail- close your eyes. It's going to get swervey. I kept my eyes open, wanting to prove to him that I was strong enough to bear the motion sickness. He took a sudden turn, and my neck popped from the force of the air. I held tighter to him, feeling the air between us. I looked back, seeing at least twenty or more shinobi catching up to us. I entered some of their minds and scrambled their memories, and their nervous systems. A few of them fell over, twitching on the ground. It didn't help much, more appeared. Rei: Yeah, Nice. I rolled my eyes and looked forward, putting my head aginst his neck. His light brown hair touched and partly covered my eyes. I tried not to focus on my injury. Haikri: Teleport! I yelled to him. Rei: No! Haikri: Do it now! Rei: Not yet! The woods parted and a huge canyon appeared. Rei helded for the craggy cliff, seeming as if he wasn't paying any attention to his surroundings. He stopped when he neared the edge, swinging my onto my feet. The shinobi stepped slowly towards him in caution. Shinobi: Just ive us the girl- She's in major medical condition. We can help ease her pain. I breathed heavily, whinning a bit in pain. I held my side. Suddenly the cool metal of a sharp kuni was against my throat. Rei: Move and she dies. The shinobi looked at each other. They all took a step forward. Rei pushed me off the sliff, and I screamed, falling for what seemed an eternity until I couldn't see them any longer. Rei jumped off too, going into a dive. He pushed off the rocks to gain the speed to catch up with me. I reached helplessly up for him, having nothing to hold onto. The thought brought tears to my eyes, and soon I pulled my hand back, realizing that there was no way of catching me. Rei couldn't do hand signs without having his feet on the ground during each one. There was no way he would catch me. He fought with the air, desperately trying to reach me. I shook my head no. My tears broke on his face, others rising past him. Haikri: I told you no. Rei: I told you yes! He yelled at me, frustrated. Rei: Reach! Haikri: It's no use. I'll die anyway! I heard yelling below me, the distinct voices of the shinobi from earlier. I smirked. Maybe I would live another day to be tortured by Tsunade's madness. I feel against something hard, yet springy. Shinobi: Teleport! Get her back to Headquaters! The rest of you, get ready to fight! I saw ten Shinobi surround me, chakra ropes holding my onto the tampoline'like material. One of them quickly formed the nessecary handsigns and Teleported us. I knew where I was going. I knew about the note. I had been prepared. I was honestly more worried about my side, which had split again from the force of gravity and hitting the ground. I stared at a wood paneled ceiling in boredom. Shinobi: Lady Tsunade. I believe we have captured the one you specified. Tsunade: Thank you. You, and the ANBU special forces may have the next few days off from missions. Where is your Commander Yoshira? Yoshira: He was left to deal with an unexpected force. Tsunade: Alright... Tell Kakashi Hatake that he needs to go assist Commander Togoi. Make sure takes his three-man-cell members with him. Yoshira: Of course, Lady Hokage. It shall be done right away. He disspeared in a cloud of smoke which spread into a thin layer of cloud at the ceiling. Tsunade: You others may leave. You have done well today. Your rewards have been sent to your homes. They bowed their heads to her, then more smoke appeared, making the ceiling more white than the pine coloring of the paneling. I felt the ropes disceniagrate. I didn't move in fear that my wound would bleed more than it needed too. I heard Tsunade sigh. Tsunade: It's been awhile, Haikri. Haikri: ...That mission certaintly just wasn't so you could say 'Hi', was it not?
((continued, Part 9))
Tsunade: Of course not. I'm not that foolish. I'm going to have you killed. Then bring your Wolven to extinction. She said somewhat dramaticly. Tsunade: You will be staying in the Hospital wing with the rest of the ruffians. Shizune and her assistance will tend to your wound for the most part...Start thinking of your last wishes, Tsuki Hishigata. Haikri: It will not take me long to create a list, you know. Tsunade: I can't guarnatee they will be granted. I laughed. Haikri: I can tell you none include any killing... I sighed, a mourning look in my eyes. Tsunade: Shizune. Come in. The door swung open, and I heard a surprised gasp. Shizune: Lady Tsu- Tsunade: Take her to Quadrant 24. And heal her. Shizune: Y-yes My Lady! Shinobi filed into the room, and picked up the sort of cot I was on. I stared distastefully at one of the young men caring me. I saw him swallow in nerve racking fear. Haikri: Calm down, will you? I'm not going to bite you. He relaxed for a fraction of a second, then stiffened back up to his original seizure of fear. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. It took at least twebty minutes ( because of the cot ) to get down the few flights of stairs in the building. Apparently, Q24 was lowet in the building for safety reasons. I understod their concern for protection. I didn't reject the fact that I was indeed one of their fears- one of the ones who impaired the perfect protection of the Hokage..and the people of Konohagakure. The moment stopped, and I saw Shizune pull a key from her pocket, unlocking a steel-plated door, to which I assumed was Quadrant 24. She backed against the wall, staring silently at me as the shinobi took me inside. I looked past the shinobi on my right. Jail cells. Some held the dying, others the vigorous and young. They were all chained to the walls. Anger began to settle inside my heart. They were torturing them. Shizune unlocked a jail cell near the back of the large room, where the more sanitary cells were. They were seperated only by a wall of concrete, no door, just a cut out of one. I saw a small, frail looking girl in another cell. A young boy sat beside her, holding her hand in worry. I watched them as The shinobi lowered me to the ground of my cell. Shizune: Get her up. The shinobi that was once full of fear was the first to put an arm behind my shoulders. Shinobi: I appreciate your bravery, Haikri-sempai. I will try to see you everyday for your life sake. He whispered in my ear, as the others joined in, proping me up in a corner. Other shinobi closed the iron handcuffs to my thin wrists and my ankles. I didn't resist. Shizune: Leave the cot. The guards will return for it later. She stated loudly, the girl in the cell in front of me looked up. They filed out of the cell, all of them leaving but Shizune. She stared at me grimly, slamming the bar door. Shizune: You deserve this you know. Her throat fluttered with emotion. Shizune: You deserve this for what you did to us! She yelled. Shizune: Burn in Hell. Burn. He said feircely, at the last. She stormed away, wiping her nose. Silence invaded the space as the other cell members stared at me intrieged. The girl stood, limbing towards me, but was pulled back by the iron hold on her hands and feet. Girl: What....is your name..? Boy: Odoru...Don't speak. Haikri: I am Tsuki. Tsuki Hishigata. I was know as Haikri here. The girl took a deep quick breath. Odoru: Haikri..? Boy: Odoru! He yelled at her, and she turned swiftly to him, giving him a angered look. Odoru: Shutup, Koneko! I can speak on my own! Without you! She screamed back at you. Guard: Hey! Quiet down over there! Odoru quickly sat down where she was and became silent. The shinobi guard walked into her cell and whipped her back mercilessly. She took the punishment without squeeling, all she did was cough a bit. Guard: I hope you learned your leason! Now you SHUTUP! He screamed at her harshly. Haikri: Shhhhhh! I said towards him, grining ear to ear. He gave a glare and grinded his teeth, leaving and relocking Odoru's and Koneko's cell. He returned to his chair in the corner of the room. He picked his book back up and continued reading. konakeo walked over to and held onto her shoulders. Odoru: ... It doesn't hurt, Kone. Koneko: I'm stil here for you, even if it doesn't. She gave a weak smile that faded to a dim frown. Koneko: ..Anyways...Hishigata, Tsuki. Over there- the one to your right. I looked over in the direction he spoke of, and saw another skinny man. He didn't look my way, or even seem to notice. Koneko: He's deaf. His name is Tegami. And to your left. I tore my eyes from him, and looked to my left. Koneko: Odoru's father was in that cell. He was taken to be executed about a week ago. We don't know any others on the other side of the room.. Haikri: ..I wonder- Odoru knows me, I believe- but you.. You speak as if I was completely innocent. Odoru whispered something harshly in his ear, and he froze in terror. I leaned my head against the wall, staring into the open cell. Haikri: As soon as I'm healed, I'm sure I will be removed from this cell as well. I looked back at them with a smile. Odoru: I wish I had your strength to face death... Her voice cracked, and she coughed, holding her neck in pain. I heard a door open from far away. No one turned their heads. I noted that my hearing was better than theirs. I saw Shizune usher in five medical ninja. They retrieved the keys from the jailer, and unlocked my door. One of them smiled, and waved a little. I could tell it was the shinobi from the hour or so earlier. He held a bag, and had a mask over his face. ( NOTE: Now being referred to as Kurai, or 'dark' because he is unknown to Haikri. ) Shizune: Heal her, and then get out. She walked back out, her heals clicking deafingly in the silence of Q24. They unlocked my wrists. Shinobi 1: Lay down. I shifted a bit from the wall, and lay down as I was told. Another ripped my shirt with a kuni to get a better look at the injury. They talked among themselves for a minute or two then returned. Shinobi 3: We're going to recraft your bone, so aneseisa is required. By the time you awake, you will have the rib replaced, but may have some minor discomfort. Kurai grabbed a needle out of his bag and inserted a clear substance. He cleaned my shoulder with a alcohol patch, and was about to stick me. Haikri: No. Let me do it. Kurai looked at his team members, and they nodded. I took the needle from him, and stuck it quickly into my skin, pushing down the plunger, releasing the seditive. After it was empty, I pulled it out and tossed it away. Shinobi 3: That works. We won't start until you are fully asleep, so don't worry about us cutting on you and you feeling it- Haikri: I've been cut with enough katana and kuni that I'm used to it. You can start. I closed my eyes, and withdrew from consciousness. I counted the hours until they finished, and I could feel every touch on my skin. I soon floated back to memories, and it killed some time.
3 hours later.
I awoke to the harsh light above me. Odoru: Tsuki..Haikri? I sat up, wincing at the slight pain in my side, but realized I could move fine. The cot was gone, and a plate of food was set before me. It was cold. It must have been setting there since the Medics had left. Odoru: One of them left something for you... He gave it to me. She slid a folder across the floor. I grabbed it through the bars, barely reaching it. I opened it, and saw a notebook, and a ink pen. In elegant print, on the cover said: Tell Me. Inside, it read:
Tell me about you..maybe one day it will reach your people. And then they will learn of what you felt.
I grabbed the pen, and pricked my finger. I let my thumb bleed a little, then pressed in against the page, leaving my finger print. I turned to the second page, and began to write. I recorded all of this, all that you have read, and possibly read. My food on my plate remained untouched. Odoru stared at me for days, but Koneko always made her sleep when the lights were dimmed. During every 'night', I heard Tegami humming a familiar song. I found a rock in my cell and threw it at him. He stared at me. I signed the letters ANBU. and gave a confused look. Tegami: Yes. You know the song..? I nodded my head yes. I signed to him that I was part of the organization once, and my lover used to sing it to me. Tegami laughed pleasantly. Tegami: It is good to find another like myself. Who be you? I tore a page out of my book, and wrote my name in big letters.
HAIKRI
Tegami: I'm impressed! Then finally caught you eh? They've been searching for what seems like ages... What you did was right, Haikri. This place is falling into darkness. It needed a saviour. But I don't know what will happen to us now.... He went quiet, and I tucked my name into the back of the book, continuing my writing. He was a seemingly strong man. He didn't look like he had been in the Quadrant long. Another plate was pushed through the bars. I barely ate any of it, consumed with my work. I missed my brother. I missed Itachi. I missed my little boy. I wanted to hold him again..and the thought brought tears to my eyes. I slept for the first time since I had arrived- 10 days. I heard Tegami's voice, and another in his cell with him. I opened my eyes to see a shinobi garbbed in black stab him through the chest, the katana appearing out of his back. Tegami: Haikri- was....rig..ht...Y-you..are.....mur--mur-murder- He choked up blood, and quivered. The sword was swiftly removed, and the shinobi took out a cloth, cleaning it. Tegami grabbed the bladed end, and flipped it out of the shinobi's hands, redirecting it at him. Tegami: MURDERS!! He impaled the shinobi in the gut, as far as he could reach, and fell forward, choking and letting go his final breath. I hand flew to my mouth, sobbing quietly for him. The shinobi turned and stared at me, the look at the blood on his shirt and fingers. He fell to his knees, and then on his side in silence. Later on, ANBU took away the bodies. Koneko shed no tears for him, but held Odoru who sobbed along with me. The days came and past, and I write the final chapter of my life as I guess. Odoru I hope makes it out alive on day, along with Konecko. I heard a loud roar, but I was thought to be halluinating becasue Odoru and Konecko did not raise their heads. I heard a shout in my mind, distinguishable words- fading in and out. Skye: * Don't...Bel.........That......they will DIE! YOU DON'T DIE!* Skye, I love you. I know you are with me. But unfournately, this could be my end. Zirra....Good friendships never end. I love you my Ryunosuke, and My Itachi. I will love you forever.
Kurai Tonakai-
Those were not the last words of Tsuki Hishigata. I did attend the execution of sorts, as the Lady Hokage had ordered. Haikri stood in the middle of the roof of the hokage mansion, looking at the Hokage Rock, baring all the former Hokages before Tsunade-sama. She was chained down, and I saw a chakra sealing jutsu was upon her- she looked frail and weak beside the ANBU who stood at her sides. Tsunade was dressed at her best, and a red katana, (which I noticed my Tsuki's herself's) in her left hand. She addressed the crowd.
Lady Hokage: People of Konohagure, I bring you out today to witness the end of one who's treachery has plagued the minds of this village, and the world. Ten long years have we waited for this end. Ten long years have we suffered in fear. But No Longer!
At last, Haikri was turned to face the crowd, and gasps of horror rang out amoung us. I saw a young man stride forward in the crowd, ANBU holding him back. He was of a strong build. He tossed them aside, rushing forward. She screamed, tearing at hr chains. One broke, and she ran forward, locking arms with him, crying. Tsuki: Don't! DOn't! You have to go! TSUYU! I saw his lips moving near her ear, quickly. At one time, I thought I reading his lips: I love you- and you will live. He was torn from her suddenly, and a katana tore his heart into peices, blood appearing on his chest and running down to meet his jeans. His hand held hers. Tsuki: NO! TSUYU! BROTHER!!!! She fell to her knees with him, holding what she could of him in her arms. We went quiet. Someone screamed 'MURDERERS!' in the crowd. Wolves brust through the crowd, tearing aprat bodies. I stood at the far end of the balcany, drawing the seen in detail, and writing what you read such as now. They were different. One Midnight Blue, another bright crimson red. I noticed to smaller wolves Go after the ANBU beside Tsuki, the Adults circling The Lady Hokage in anger, letting out feirce growls and barks. Suddenly, a great gale of wind knocked my painting of the easel, and my paint onto the ground. A enormous creture hovered above, it claws tearing ANBU appart and tossing them off the roof into the city streets below. A voice rang out.
Hokage: KILL HER! KILL HER NOW! One of the wolves heard this, and ran across the roof in deperate attempt to free Tsuki. The two younger ones had disappeared. In the confusion, I saw a young man with a small katana at Tsuki's back, letting her body fall forward. Thw olf rushed on, meeting it as it fell to the ground. He whimpopered, and licked her face.
The wolf let out a screeching howl, at which time I had covered my ears. He looked up and stalked forward to the one boy who had killed Tsuki. The boy had tears running down his cheeks, and he held the katana out in front of him, shaking. Shikamaru Nara.
Tsuki lay frozen on the ground, sleeping as it seemed, to never wake again.
Three other wolves were killd in the bloody day, the others hunted down and injured in the night.
One was female, light tan swirled with the blue in her fur. Another male: a dark green with ivory teeth like his bretheren. And yet another female- grey as the misty waters in the Hidden Waterfall Village.
The young man was dead- Tsuyu he had been called. I found later, that he was Tsuki's younger brother...Tsuyu, Damian, Hishigata. He was carried off the wolves.
The black one fled as the ANBU cornered him, disappearing suddenly.
I grabbed my supplies, and jumped off the roof as a gaint wave of fire scorched the rooftop, killing the people that had no escaped the wrath of the flying beast.
SO IT BE THE END OF TSUKI....HAIKRI....HISHIGATA.
(((END!!! HOPE YOU LIKEDED!~ WOlvenH )))
