Saji turned from the gentlemen for a moment to call up to Mandy. "Darling will you come here for a moment.... I need your help this time....." She twitched her nose and started to glow. She turned to shout over her shoulder. "And would everyone cover their eyes.... this will be rather bright..." Mandy got up from where she was and went over to where Saji was. "Yes?" Negra nodded then ducked his head slightly shutting his eyes quickly. Sigma sat next to Negra when he read Saji he did the same thing placing the two bottles on the table. "What colors do I need.... as the bridesmaid I mean..." She took Mandy's hand in hers. "I gotta make a gown you know...." "Heh, white and red. The two favorite colors of us. Kevin red me white."Mandy replied softly. "Alright then..." She clapped her hands over her head and there was a burst of light and the whole tavern shown with silver moon and the air crackled. The light burst and was gone. Saji's messy hair was neatly pinned and her curls were tamed. She wore a strapless red gown hemmed in starlight and silver. Silver stilettos and silver gilt gloves. Her aura shown soft and pink. "Ow this burns...."
"Heh, you look beautiful. Now if there are no more interruptions I must go finish getting ready." She glided up the stairs and back into her room. She sat down where she had been for hours to finish. Saji turned back to the guys. "Hey its safe now..... what do you think...." She looked at Sigma and Negra. "And are you guys staying for the wedding...." She looked around quickly realizing Sheggo was missing. "...... where is Sheggo...." Negra and Sigma looked up at Saji again speaking almost at the same time "it looked very lovely miss Saji..and Sheggo said something about that who is getting married?" they both asked looking at each other again before laughing, Sigma handed Negra his bottle of Vix , then grabbed his own bottle of Sake and took a sip “I think Sheggo went upstairs" Sigma said smiling.
Sheggorath walked into the corridor at the top of the stairs and aimlessly walked down it, shaking his head slightly trying to clear the strange pressure. However it seemed to be getting worse. ‘What the hellocks is this? And why now?’ he growled to himself. As he looked up he realized he had gone past his bedroom and was standing by the door to Mandy’s. He glanced into the room and suddenly felt a jolt of pain as a blinding flash filled his mind. Growling fiercely he fell to his knees with his hands wrapping around his head as it reached the floor. ‘No, no, not this! Ay locked it away!!’ he snarled, his yellow eyes wide as they stared at the floorboards. “Yes, this is here, and I‘m not a prisoner anymore.” The words whispered out of his mouth, but it wasn’t his voice. The voice was in a decisive English accent, and had evilly, mischievous, slithering undertones. Different colored energy sparked as he fought the other mind, energy and colour swirled inside and outside his body as it was slowly overcome by the entity. Sheggorath suddenly stood up, not looking any different, though his eyes were much more focused as they looked into Mandy's room. He smirked crookedly and spread a gloved hand out towards Mandy’s room. Black sparks reached out from his palm streaking across the walls as they consumed the room around Mandy sending her into total darkness.
"W-what the? Sheggo what's-" Mandy's words were stopped when she saw his hand reached out. "No! No!”Mandy screamed.
Saji shook her head. She reached her mental connection out searching for him not trusting her nose. "I will be right back...." She grabbed her skirts ,un-lady-like, and ran up the stairs. Sheggo where are you.... what's wrong... if you are ok do you want me to leave you alone... “I'm sorry but Sheggo isn’t here, try again later!” a cruelly twisted voice was sent back at her along with a small mental attack that would feel like thorns in Saji's mind. The figure of Sheggo smirked with a more insane look that usual in the amber eyes as he disappeared into the darkness where he had sent Mandy.
The dark energy swirled around Mandy as she was brought away from the Tavern into the eternal darkness in between worlds and dimensions. “Yes, yes Mandy.” The words slithered around her like venomous snakes. The figure of Sheggorath appeared out of the darkness, his face twisted in a insanely evil grin. “Well m'dear is this the happy day you were looking forward to?” the voice taunted darkly. "Why are you doing this! After everything why? Oh no, the nightmare it's coming true..." Mandy's head slowly sank down before she looked back up. "Why are you doing this to me!?" The Sheggorath looked at her with mock shock. “You think I need a reason to do this? How about for the hell of it?” he laughed cruelly as he walked towards her. Suddenly he vanished and reappeared behind her with Konro's golden dagger at Mandy's throat. The blade dug into her skin slightly as he grinned wickedly. “Hello again Miss Mandy, I think a blood red dress might suit you better...” A small dark red line trickled down from the dagger's edge. "I thought you were my friend." A few tears fell out of her eyes as her voice cracked. "Please, don’t do this. " Mandy could feel the small trickle of blood fall as she winced. "Please just the other day you were saying.. how much you would miss me if I left. What about now?" Saji’s eyes started to bleed but she didn’t but instead of attacking, she used her energy to transport Mandy. "MANDY!!!!!!!" Sheggo's arms were empty. Mandy was in the hall now. "Run...." Saji collapsed and cried. "Thank you Saji." Mandy slipped off her shoes as she ran out of the tavern and into the woods. "What the hell happened to him?"
“Aw you actually thought you had friends? How pitiful.” he smirked, his head hovering above her shoulder as the pressure from the knife steadily grew. However at the last second she disappeared from his grasp. “DAMMIT! Gah, that makes this job much harder, or maybe more fun...” he muttered a psychotic grin slowly growing on his face as he melted back into the darkness. He appeared in front of Mandy and caught her arm as she was running and roughly pulled her back against him. “You didn’t think you got away that easy did you? Now how about you hold still while I inject some fun into this boring wedding!” he grinned showing sharp teeth as sharper claws pierced through his glove finger tips. He held these claws up to her throat slowly digging them in one at a time sadistically.
"No! Please don’t do this! And yes I do have friends. One of them being you! Please Sheggo. Don’t do this to me." As more pain was put on Mandy a reel of past time moments played through her head. "Don’t you remember the good times. Yumi with the hose, the paint can, please Sheggo. I know you don’t want to hurt me." “Maybe you shouldnt remind me of the times you tried to annoy me. And yes, I do want to hurt you.” he replied darkly, his tawny eyes glittering with bloodlust, though he was slightly distracted by other people coming towards them. "Remember all the good times we had then. Please Sheggorath. Why are you doing this to me today? You could have done this three months ago when you met me. Whyon my wedding day!?" Mandy obviously already knew the answer but she wanted to know from him. "You were my best friend! Now youre- youre different. This isnt you!!"
“Well done! Maybe I should spare your life then if you can figure that much out. And today is obviously a special day.” he replied, his twisted voice dripping with sarcasm. Again before he could completely slit her throat she was teleported away. “This is just getting annoying now.” he growled. The vines that had been attacking Saji moved above him and vicious spikes grew from the dark vines smoothly cutting through the boulder shattering the immense piece of rock and scattering shards across the forest. Sheggorath stood calmly tracing their essence while the boulder rained down around him, he was glad they weren’t too far away. He grinned, his amber eyes flashing wickedly as he flowed back into the darkness again.
Bring it. "He's here. Outside right now. He's wondering how long it will take him to get in." Mandy stared down at the floor as she saw Sheggo outside. Why try anymore? His eyes flashed darkly, a grin slowly covering his face as he heard Mandy in his mind. He traced the mental link back ripping away at the surrounding protective seals bit by bit. Once they were weakened he moved through the shadows teleporting himself behind Mandy. “Why try? Because I really want to get inside your head.” he replied unervingly. Darkness wreathed around him as he moved towards Mandy.
"Not again. No more running for me. If you want to hurt me you'll have to fight." Mandy's grip on the blade tightened as he got closer. All she could see was anger, redness swelling her eyes. Her eyes flickered slowly from red to blue back to red. "Not again. No."
“O damn, and I was planning on just killing you. Honestly where would the fun be in that little Mandy?” he replied sarcastically still with a insane grin on his face as he had his prey in front of him. Though he was distracted by Negra, he looked uninterestedly towards him, “Hey watch who your threatening, or you might wake up with a burning feeling over your whole body.” Red electricity sparked through the air surrounding and pulsing threateningly around Negra. He looked back towards Mandy, his amber eyes narrowing as Saji moved towards her. He quickly vanished back into the darkness leaving a illusion of himself standing there burning. The illusion melted dramatically and painfully screaming to the ground, almost as if Sheggorath enjoyed watching it. “Well now lizard girl we had better get those jaws shut before you hurt someone. I wouldnt want to get my wedding suit messed up now...” Two tendrils shot out from behind Saji and wrapped around her mouth aiming to suffocate her. Sheggorath appeared next to Mandy and grinning vicous said, “It’s a good thing I know how to skin a serpent.” with one swift movement he slipped the golden blade under the hard scales.
"Leave her out of this! She has nothing to do with what your trying to do. Leave them both alone. I'm not afraid to hurt you." Mandy disappeared then reappeared holding Sheggorath's wrist away from Saji's throat. She swiftly bent his arm back and held it there. "Now...”
Wincing slightly as she pulled his arm back Sheggorath turned his head so one yellow eye looked at her over his shoulder. “What is it I'm trying to do then? You think I'm just here to mess up your sorry little wedding? And by the way I don’t mind hurting you either.” he grinned slyly as he twisted his gloved hand around launching his sharp claws into the back of her hand. As her grip weakened he swiftly turned about to slash her with the golden dagger when he noticed what Saji was doing. He quickly grabbed Mandy by her bleeding wrist and dragged her into the darkness teleporting them away back into the forest before the house fell on them. Staggering slightly he fell to his knees and sat on the ground rubbing his head as it swirled around in a chaotic maelstrom. “Good thing ay dont keep my soul on me.” he muttered his voice sounding strangely warped.
Mandy fell back against a tree as she held her wrist. "Damn! Who are you? And why have you taken over my best friend!?" Her wrist started to heal faster than before. Before he could get up Mandy pinned him against the tree with one hand the other having the blade at his neck. "Now tell me what I want to know." Sheggorath winced as she slammed him against the tree, he held a hand up against his head as he muttered in a fractured voice, “Ay'm me, who else would ah be?” Pain shot over his face as his mind seared in the fierce inner battle. He was struggling against the unleashed chaos that he had worked hard to hide away in the corners of his mind.
Mandy slowly backed up as she threw the blade a side. "What have I done?" Her breathing slowly started to quicken as she leaned back against a tree. "You almost killed me though." As she let him go he fell to the ground landing on his hands, breathing heavily with his eyes shut darkness gathered around him being pulled into his body. He fought mentally to seal everything back where it should be. A few pained growls later he sat back and opened his eyes glancing around his environment. His yellow eyes settled onto Mandy, “Ay what?” He looked up thinking for a second before shock appeared on his face. He looked back down at Mandy wide eyed, “My god, Mandy, ay'm so sorry...” he stuttered struggling to talk as he remembered what he had done. Mandy couldn’t find the words to say. All she could do was stare at him shocked. She slowly shook her head as she got up. "You ruin this day for my." She finally said. "Thanks a lot."
Sheggorath looked up at her with sorrowful pained eyes. He looked back down at the ground and quietly said, “Ay didn’t mean to.... ah didn’t want to....ay.....” his voice gently trailed off as a small tears appeared at the corner of his yellow cats eyes. He shakily stood up and leaned against the tree behind him for support. He stared down at the earthy ground the brim of his hat covering his eyes. "It wasn’t you. Was it?" Mandy slowly pushed her hair out of her eyes. "I'm sorry for being so hard on you. But it was my wedding day today. But it wasn’t your fault." A mournful cat eye glanced at Konro's back from under the hats rim. He replied slowly, “No, it was my fault. It was still a part of me. Ay spoiled your special day, ah should leave.” he bit down on the last word bitterly as a single teardrop hit the ground.
"No. Don’t go. Please. Stay here at least. At least till tomorrow."Mandy replied smiling slightly. Sheggorath glanced up at Mandy and across at Konro, a mixture of confusion, shock and distrust on his feline face. “Seriously? How can you.....” he stopped and cringed as he heard the whiskey splashing onto the ground, reminding him he also hadn’t had any to drink all day. Drying his eyes on the back of his gloves he looked steadily at Mandy, “Are you sure?” Mandy blinked her eyes in pain then slowly opened them. "Yes... but as Konro said we aren’t letting you off easily. We're re-planning the wedding all over. Two weeks we have. I'll talk to Kevin about what happened today. Konro you’re the new best man."
Sheggorath's gaze dropped back down to the ground. “Ay knew ah'd mess it up somehow. Ay'm better off being banned from the wedding.” he growled mainly to himself. He quietly asked, “Want a portal back or would you prefer to walk?” "Your not banned. And I'm fine alone." Mandy snapped her fingers and appeared in her room alone. "Everything's ruined" She cried to herself. She brought her knees up to her chest as she rocked forward and backward.
The next day Mandy woke up to find herself warm against Kevin. She slowly turned and kissed his nose lightly to wake him up. “Morning sleepy head.” "How are you feeling?"he asked her. "I'm still upset. I guess you heard everything. And about Konro being your best man now." "Yes. Do you have any idea what happened to Sheggorath?" "He is a prisoner of his own mind Kev. He didnt mean to." “I have a surprise for you also." kevin got up from the bed and went into the bathroom. "What is it Kevin?" Kevin came out with a brand new- even though it was the same dress from yesterday- dress. "H-how? When did you do this?!" "Last night I finished last night." Mandy cocked her eyebrows. "Yeah right you didn’t do this by yourself." "Okay Miranda helped. And so did Sheggo..."
"H-he helped?"Mandy asked in a shaky voice. "Yes and right now you need to get ready as do I now lets go." Mandy sprang out of bed as Kevin went to his room to get ready again. "Oh my god. The day has finally come." Mandy quickly slipped into her dress as she waited for her sister. Mandy slowly brushed through her hair a she lie on the bed. "Do you think I am blowing this out of proportion Miranda?" Miranda looked over to her sister with a confused face. "No, why Mandy? You think this wedding is a bit... crazed?" "Well with everything that happened yesterday... you never know what could happen tonight. I just dont want anyone else to get hurt."
A large wolf rode into the tavern, a figure with a dark blue cloak covering their features jumped off its back and walked to the fireplace. 'Its seriously cold outside!' a female voice said as she pulled back the hood revealing a smiling Lunasif. She looked around the tavern and spotted Mandy, 'hi Mandy! I heard your having a wedding from a certain cat man, so I stopped by for that and the new year!'
"Ah Luna!" Mandy ran from where she was and hugged Luna. "Speaking of your cousin. There is a long story that goes along with it. Come sit." Lunasif hugged Mandy back, but looked warily at her when she said there was a story about her cousin. 'Has he finally gotten thrown out of here?' she sighed as she followed Mandy and sat down next to her.
"I wish. Your cousin sort of... ruined my wedding yesterday. He somehow went psychotic on us yesterday sent me into a tunnel of darkness almost slitted my throat then somehow came back to normal. Oh and he destroyed my parents house. Well Saji did. To help defend me though." Lunasif sighed looking at Mandy's throat. ' I'm so sorry, I can’t believe that happened. It’s a shame he didn’t follow me instead of staying here. I'm so glad you're alive. Um, is he ok?' she asked nervously.
"If you don’t mind me asking where did you go? You've been gone for a while. I don't know. Haven’t seen him since I left him with Konro last night. I hope he's okay." 'O sorry, I got mixed up in a difficult job and had to disappear for a while. You know the usual assassin being hunted thing. Yeah I hope he's okay too.' she sighed and looked towards the front door. 'So how is everyone else?' "Ah I see. Everyone else is fine. Izotz or Izzy now sort of lost his memory. He's with Rayne or someone I dont know. Konro almost left but came back. Jess and I are vampires now. Unless she was before you left." Mandy's tone slightly changed. "Jeremy almost killed me the other night too."
“Actually Damian is dead and Izzy has gone insane. I am really good friends with Izzy and I'm actually dating the new guy, Nathanial." Rayne broke in walking over to the two girls. Mandy's head ached as she heard Damian's name again. "Yes he is. H-he's gone insane? When? How?"
