So for the past 6 months my family has descovered that you should never have someone else do you Taxes for you. He has screwed us over for not only this year, where he didn't file on time thus it was late, but has not correctly filed for the past two years it seems..
Thus were now in a battle to prove we did pay all of these things, but the man who prepared all of our taxes has not been willing to help one bit. Luckly my brother is an accountant with a pretty big company, and has been doing his best to try and help us.
Yet though it seems the IRS is uncapeable of running itself. Seeing as while they told us one thing today on a bunch of paperwork they say they dont have, my brother got a letter saying that they did and it was cleared.....
