Keni turned on to his left side and was facing Rei in bed. He took it upon himself to tug her into his chest and smile happily with his eyes closing once more. His lips found her cheek bone and planted a sweet kiss against it.

Embraced in the comfort of warmth, a dreamless sleep, and a company, her eyes hadn't shown signs of life until he spoke, her thick and dark lashes slowly parting, first studying the blurry scenery she saw before her until it cleared out to reveal a contented smile that curved his lips. Her eyes closed again, though for a short moment before they re-opened to their full, lidded expansion. A smile of her own curled her lips as she 'returned' a kiss of her own to his neck, although not having been quite aware that he'd beat her to the deed. Her lips were soft and rather warm as they brushing against his flesh, curling into a wider smile before she pulled back away from the blind spot.

The girl laughed gently, her tail snaking around her leg comfortably. She lifted a brow at his confusion at her playful comment; he was quite the number, "Well.. what exactly would you call your previous beds..? I do hope you wouldn't call them 'beds'.." As he leaned forward, making contact with the tips of their noses, her glacial irises slowly studied the tints and sparks of his own iris with a quiet curiosity.

"You didn't hear me wake up this morning..?" He really didn't feel like going in to full details on that subject so he sat up. He started moving out the bed and sat at the edge to spot out his shirt and boots."I went down the stairs and Raven gave me some sleeping pills."

As he slipped away, Rei rolled onto her back, stretching her arms and the rest of her body while still laying down. It was the same ritual; strenuous labor before her muscles went limp and sunk comfortably into the feathery mattress. The girl rolled back onto her side, propping her head up as her elbow dug into her pillow, Her locks spilled onto the pillow, tossing back the feathery tresses that had fallen over her porcelain complexion. Her rosy lips were parted delicately as her icy gaze followed his movements.
"No, I don't believe I did.. I suppose im quite the heavy sleeper."
As he mentioned getting sleeping pills, her slender brows lifted slightly.
"So it wasn't better that a nest." She smiled softly before a serious notation laced with her pale features, "Why'd you wake up..? I didn't kick you, did I..?"

"No. It was better than sleeping outside. Sleeping with you is much better." Without smiling he turned and bent sideways. His lips found hers and locked for a moment but it didn't last long. Grabbing his shirt, he stood to his feet and slipped his arms through the sleeves then started on the buttons.

He'd captured her lips in a short, affectionate gesture, though her frosty eyes remained opened slightly, studying him. She couldn't quite read anything from him, mostly because he would keep turning away. Lifting her free hand, her fingers carefully tucked back the tresses on the side of her head that faced the ceiling of her chilly room. She'd continued to leave the windows open. The moonlight simply gave her a comfort, and even though the clear windows were translucent, she didn't quite feel the power of its caress with the glass walls guarding it's grace.

"Then what..?" Sounding like an echo. After he had gotten his boots on and well tied, he climbed back into the bed and made Rei lay back into the pillows once more. He moved ontop of her with one arm under her head the other above it on the pillows messing with her hair. sweatdrop heart

The girl laughed lightly at his response before raising a brow as he came back, shivering against the lack of heat his attire held against her. Rei then gave a light jump as her locks suddenly fell out of their less messy composure into a messier once, "Heeey.. stop that," a light growl following as she flicked his forehead as a means of revenge.
Swiftly slipping her head under the arm beneath her head, she swiftly rolled away, her ninja skills ending in a rather loud thump as she ended up rolling off the bed altogether with a magnificent squeak.
Rei recovered quickly, her cheeks steaming as she sat up, resting an arm on the bed while sporting a mop-like do.

Kenimaru was amazed and yet appauled at this new evidence that made him remember she was not a goddess. Before she bounced up, there was silence. Then there was his deffening laughter that he just could not stop. He talked through snorts and cackles.

The girl blushed only deeper as he laughed, the fur of her black tail beginning to stand on end and whip at the floor as it sponged ferociously. As she heard him move for the door, she let out yet another growl.

Usually Kenimaru would have kept going and waited for her downstairs. But tonight seemed different to him which started with his weird awakening that morning. Keni turned on the soles of his feet and gave only one agile hop. The next moment he had Rei in his arms with his eyes a Carribean Blue. He smiled as she had been laying back in his arms while he stood over her.

" Other than cutting off your balls..?", she muttered quietly, her eyes rolled to the corners of her eyes as she eyed the wall with a stubborn, pride-hurt stare. Though an innocent grin soon curled her supple lips as she batted her lashes innocently, knowing he'd probably get angry. Those things were like a life-lines to men, she'd noticed. Although it only added to the fun of threatening them. Her complexion smoothed back out to it's serious air as she tipped her head slightly.

The girl stumbled a bit as she found herself back on her feet, having gotten used to having limp legs. She glared, then stared, then wondered. A nightmare..? Letting out a huff, she soundlessly sauntered to her closet and began to rummage through her clothing, though at the same time wondering what the nightmare could have been about. Aside from that, it also bothered her that she hadn't awoken at the time he had.. though the true reason behind that was because she'd gotten comfortable around him, and didn't need to keep her guard through a slumber.

Rei slowly moved down the stairs, drumming her fingers against the smooth banister at which her hand rested and her palm glided. Her head was turned and tipped back, her glacial gaze drifted over and attracted to the night that spilled into the room from a window. Her tail moved slowly behind her, swaying closely to the ground in a rhythmic dance to a beat no one else seemed to hear.
