You and me
A breathe of magic
That flutters between us
Who knew love to be so tragic?
Our hearts beat and pound
Fingers touch and caress
As lips lock with promise
And you whisper I'm the fairest
But things are foreshadowed
Truths now, soon to be lies
Things that can't be undone
Slowly hearts break and die
We part with empty hearts
Then only to yearn again
It's true we love one another
And we hope to be what had been
You and me
A breathe of magic
That flutters between us
Who knew love to be so tragic?
Again we hurt ourselves
We think ourselves stupid
Are we not to be
Do we have no cupid?
Unable to trust the other
Tragity happens all over
The past seems to repeat
We claim we can't recover
Parting again with sadness
Love we had thought we found
Now we're so unsure of ourselves
Because we felt ourselves bound
You and me
A breathe of magic
That flutters between us
Who knew love to be so tragic?

Here We Are, But We're Still Lost
I have spilled my heart on this journal and now I am making it public. I doubt what you will find will interest you much. It's only my battered soul.
Lol, sorry, that was really angst, wasn't it?
