I feel oddly guilty. I went to donate blood and my iron level was too low. (Explains why I have been so tired stare )
Blood donating is an odd process...answer alot of questions which asks you almost subtlety if you are a prostitute. (That's a "no" in my case.)
That's one of the immediate kick out's for blood donating, like current cancer or a guy sleeping with other men. (I find that extremely unfair; if one's careful about sex, homosexuality is just as risky as heterosexuality.)
Lots of the questions are...weird.
I wish there was a category for "virgin" so I didn't have to answer all the sex and pregnancy questions. It would be much easier.
My ring finger throbs. The iron test isn't fun and all my blood pressure seems centered on that finger.
I went through all the annoyances of blood donating and I didn't get the satisfaction of donation. Grrr.
(Not that the receivers get it as a donation anyways. The donation of blood is sold. Made me feel dirty when I learned about that. I suppose the system has to support itself, though.
