Hoshijin Taihou - Stardust Cannon

Hoshijin Taihou is a lot like Reppushou (Gale Wind Palm), along the lines that it relies on the force of the shinobi's chakra to yeild an incredible result. Hoshijin Taihou is used at close range and is virtually useless at any range outside one and a half meters. Yukaze created this technique as his trump card for the academy exam, in case the techniques he learned there didn't help him pass. Focusing a variable amount of chakra into his hands, Yukaze will build up great force. Then, by combining this with his ability to manipulate air currents with his Kasaigan, he will pulse the chakra outwards in a blast of wind. This wind will have enough force to break bones on contact and will feel like being hit by a solid steel wall while moving at terminal velocity. The attack is called Stardust Cannon because of the small sparkles of Yukaze's white chakra that travel through it when it is initiated. Also, when the technique impacts the opponent, the chakra particles will pass through the opponent, causing internal damage.

Yukaze will start by focusing his white chakra into his right palm. He will then concentrate it into one fine point, so miniscule that even the Byakugan would have trouble seeing it. Once that stage is complete he will charge at his opponent and thrust his arm forward. As he does so, the chakra at his palm will take on Fuuton properties, creating a meter-long spear of wind. If it makes any conact with the opponent at all, they will be sucked in towards Yukaze's palm, being torn up by the spear the whole time. Once they reach his palm it will erupt with Fuuton chakra, blasting them away from Yukaze with a gaping whole in their body. Yukaze can add to the length of the spear by using more chakra, but the original length will always be one meter. Due to the damage caused to his wrist through holding the spear up, Yukaze prefers to use the technique only when it is necessary.

A pendant worn around Yukaze's neck. It increases his chakra control dramatically. This lets him use techniques with better accuracy and just the right amount of chakra. Being a Genin, this pendant comes in handy. It was given to him by his mother after he passed the academy exam.

Miscellaneous: Yukaze's Kasaigan activate's automatically when he is in danger, releasing a small shield of wind, just large enough to block a kick or punch. From then on he can use it however he see's fit. Yukaze prefers to combine his Ninjutsu techniques with hand-to-hand combat. Being a very energetic boy, he always finds a way to keep himself entertained. He has inherited his father's speed as a natural gift, being able to run nearly three times as fast as most other Genin in Kumogakure.

Biography: Yukaze was born son to Kineta Kaiosou and Nara Anna. His father was called away on a mission shortly after empregnating Anna and hasn't returned yet. Because of this he grew up not knowing his father and not being taught of the Kineta clan heritage. He thought it strange when he was unable to learn Kage Mane no Jutsu (Shadow Imitation Technique) from his mother, then, as she explained it to him, it all became clear.

At the age of nine, driven by the urge to find his father, Yukaze set off to the Old Ruined City, where Anna had told him his father had spent most of his time running through scrolls and exploring buildings. As soon as he got there something sparked inside him, something he though he had lost. And when he stepped through the barrier with ease, where most men had nearly died, it happened.

In a flash of light he slipped out of consciousness. When he awoke, he was outside the ruined city. He returned home to find his home empty, but a note on the table. The note read: "Yukaze, I'm sorry I won't be there to see you pass the Academy exam. I have been diagnosed with an incurable illness and I can feel the life draining from me. I want you to know that I love you very much and I will always be watching over you. It's been two years since you left and I can't keep your past from you anymore. Take this pendant, find your father, and become a great shinobi. Love, mom." He didn't understand. He had only been gone for a few days, not years! When he stepped into the bathroom, he caught his reflection in the mirror; he had aged. Still unsure of what had happened, he took the pendant, placed it around his neck, and left the house.

Outside, everything was exactly the same as when he left. Nobody had changed. When he questioned the villagers on what had happened, nobody knew anything about it. They were all shocked to learn of Anna's disappearance, as most of them had been talking to her just moments ago. There were also shocked to see that Yukaze had aged two years within three days. No matter how they reacted, nobody could explain it. However, he soon grew used to the change. He was left alone. All of the payments on the house were donated by villagers, giving him a proper home. He learned to cook and clean on his own and set out to the Ninja Academy just a month later.

After just a year, Yukaze was ready for the Academy exam. The theme of this exam was simple combat. His teacher attacked him head on, with amazing speed. Yukaze did well enough on his own, until it came down to the final round. He was down on the ground, flat on his back. His teacher was about to throw a punch at his stomach when, all of a sudden, his eyes changed. They turned a strange color of green and the pupils contracted to the shape of a cat's. With that, his teacher's punch was stopped just inches in front of his face. As this happened he could see what stopped the attack clearly; a white ribbon; apparently invisible to everyone else. Acting out of instinct, Yukaze thrusted his open hand towards his teacher, igniting his white chakra. The teacher was thrown off him and knocked against a wall on the other side of the classroom. He, of course, passed the test, and was promoted to Genin.

After taking some time to himself as a training course, Yukaze learned to better control his immoral eyes, which he came to know as the Kasaigan. He also learned to better control the technique he used on his teacher and named it Hoshijin Taihou (Stardust Cannon). He now trains as a Genin, while also keeping alert for anything regarding his father.
