Put the Lime in the Coconut
Just random things I'd like to put in here.
Role Play Samples

I usually have male characters, but I would love to play a female character. I'm sorry I don't have a sample of that. Also, at the shortest I try to make my posts 4 paragraphs.. but stuff happens. I promise not to give a one liner, though. <3

Also, shorter, more light-hearted roleplays are fun. I don't like to wrack my brain all the time to type out every little detail around me.

Rain.

Endless amounts of water pouring from the Heavens above to soak the Earth below punished the newcomer of the forest to no end. As if he belonged on the leafy floor of the jungle he moved quickly along between each short-lived storm and began to even expect them. Abiyram wasn't used to the booming sounds above his head and the waterfalls that came from the sky. Rain was a rarity in the desert and he was used to them only a few times a year, waiting for the floods to follow and fill the river beds with its life. Waiting for the flowers to bloom that were long dead during any other part of the year. This felt ridiculous and excessive. How any creature could live in a glorified ocean was beyond him.

That question stuck in his mind during his entire journey to find some sort of safety within the jungle. Shortly upon entering he had come across markings on the trees, left by another male Naga to mark his territory. He could tell this by the scent left there on the trees, something obvious and sickeningly sweet to others of his species. And a warning. However, seeing that he was just passing through, Abiyram decided to continue on the straight path he was on and through the growing territory. He thought the other wouldn't mind his passing since he didn't plan on staying any longer than till he reached the other side- and though he hadn't figured it out yet, he was dead wrong.

Ignoring the warning signs that he was being followed, the male slid along his set path quickly. It seemed like animalistic eyes were always locked on to his slithering form in this foreign space and he shrugged off the feeling as some mindless beast stalking him through the brush. It wasn't as if he wouldn't attract some strange creature's attention. He did stick out sourly amongst the dark floor beneath the canopy and the surroundings hardly complimented his features; designed to survive in the harshest environment on Earth.

His hair was long, reaching his hips and twisted in a loose braid to keep the elegantly rose-chocolate colored locks from getting in the way of his serpentine movements. Similar red-brown tattoos slunk around his shoulders, down to the small of his back, and disappeared in to his milky-sand tinted hips. A sign he once belonged to a tribe, which had long left their rocky homes perched in the middle of an endless sand-filled death trap. If he were basking in the sunlight on those stony red surfaces, he would be hardly noticeable. The scales of his tail the same color as his hair with sandy-white stripes spiraling down to the tip of his tail. A pair of pale horns sat elegantly on the sides of his head, twisting forward to a point like ancient dried wood one would find in his home and yellow, slit eyes darted two and fro in hopes of figuring out his surroundings.

Abiyram wasn't lost, no, he was a far better tracker and explorer than that. Living in a place where the world looked the same till the Earth disappeared in to the sky forced a creature to have such a talent. He figured within another day or two's journey he would be at the edge of the forest and in a safer territory of the desert- which threatened to swallow the swamp whole. If he could last that long here.

With the weather letting up once again, the Naga sighed heavily and slumped himself against the moist bark of an enormous tree. There was no more sense in this madness, he had to rest at some point. An earthy floor below him had hindered his normally fluid and graceful movements of the sand-- the fact there was so much brush, trees, and stumps in the way of his trek was also dis-heartening and he felt tired when the proud male should have been able to go on for several more hours. He grunted and let his exhausted body fall slightly limp and wrapped his tail about a fallen branch nearby. A few droplets of water splashed his masculine face and his long, hot red tongue flicked the air to taste the moisture there.

And then he could taste it. The other Naga was somewhere close by. At this his muscles tensed slightly, his mind in a whirl why he would even bother to follow him so deeply in to the swamp. Unless.. he was protecting what was his and Abiyram was painfully settled in it.

Finally the first rays of hope had spread their warmth over the city. For the first time in weeks, the sun was shining, not a drop of water fell from the sky, and there wasn't a cloud to be seen to ruin such a perfect day. Belial could feel the heat on his back somewhere above him. He couldn't be quite sure, the world was currently spinning below him. He could taste dirt and the metal texture of blood on his tongue; the cooler earth pressed against his cheek in a place he had no idea where. The last he could wrack his brain to remember was leaving the church, then a sharp pain to the back of his head, a strange dream, then he woke up here.

But where was here? The demon's mind pulsed against his skull, the pressure there causing him to groan outwardly in pain. And then he could feel it, the sticky and slightly dried blood on his brow and forehead as the feeling began to return to his body. He could feel without opening his eyes he was half dressed, in nothing save his shoes, white shirt, and trousers. Was he mugged? No.. he didn't keep any money on him and the fact he could feel cuts and burns that were being rubbed raw by his clothing underneath told him he wasn't just hit over the head by some mindless punk.

Another groan and the man tried to lift himself from the dirt of the.. where was he? As if it took some excruciating amount of effort, the demon gasped and opened his eyes. They squinted and dilated painfully with the sudden light that hit him, the world still slightly waving like an ocean in front of him. Shaking his head a minute, he opened his eyes a second time and let the blurry world around him come back in to better focus.

Tombstones. A lot of them. He'd been dumped off in a graveyard and the large white building in the background only told him he was in a church graveyard.. filled with saints and those who were deemed lucky enough to be buried in it's holy grounds. And that's when the burning feeling on the underside of his body made sense.. he was laying on blessed dirt. A curse hissed between his teeth, damning whoever it was that had left him here who battered. He had a feeling he knew.. and as consciousness casually seeped in to his brain he realized that he'd somehow messed up. He'd done something to anger someone below and this was his punishment. Whatever the hell he'd done, it didn't matter now. He needed to get out of the gated yard before his skin started to boil.

Stumbling and falling back to the ground a few times, Belial finally made it to his feet. Another groan escaped his throat harshly, some bones felt broken and his skin felt like it was going to tare apart from it's deep cuts. Fresh blood began to re stain his dirty white top, milking in to it with a burst of deep red that soaked itself permanently in to the cotton fabric. The demon could feel his very human body beginning to shiver from the shock, but the inhuman part of him fought the urge like a bull. He took a few staggering steps before falling again, his already bruised body slamming against one of the stone tombstones roughly and he clung to it as if he were going to drown if he fell any further.

Once again, he cursed the air, his legs, his body, the sky; anything his mind could think of he cursed. How could he have been so stupid? How could he have let himself get to this point? Let someone take him like that.. It was slightly disheartening. And now he wondered how long he was going to be stuck in the accursed graveyard before he could crawl his way out and disappear somewhere for a while to heal..
