Master or slave?
She asked me one day
I turned to her
Not knowing what to say
Would I make a fair master?
Would I be selfish and mean?
Would I laugh at my subjects?
As they wash and they clean
Would I make a good a slave?
Would I be obedient and kind?
Would I listen to others?
And act like I don't mind
Would I live up to expectations?
Most certaintly not!
Following the status quo
Would leave me distraught
I've made up my mind
It's neither nor both
Because I'm my own sect
I see the most growth
I wish I could answer
Without speaking in a rhyme
But somehow I know
It'd be a waste of time
A master I am not
A slave I can't act
I'd rather be perfectly centered
And my friend that's a fact
