Is it Love?

My heart is empty except for you.
Why can't I keep my thoughts off you?
Is it love?
Could that be true?

I long for when I see your face.
Thank God I have your sweet embrace!
I'd die for any time spent with you...
Could I actually be ready again to taste

true undying love? I've tried that before.
When it ended I was worse than sore.
My mind was heavy with horrid thoughts.
Pain radiated from my very core.

I was so stupid to think love didn't die.
I think just that was what made me cry.
My hope was lost and it still is.
I always wonder if love really can survive.

And if i we were to fall in love...
would we have this love i'm thinking of?
Could it become a true undying tie
Like I believed in when I was young?

You've wiped my mind of thoughts I couldn't bear,
repaired a soul that continued to tear.
My heart is filled to the brim again...
but am I ready yet for a love so rare?
