Hmm... I'm feeling lethargic today. Time for a rant! Today's topic shall be.... Warfare!
We watched a movie today in my US History class called The Lost Battalion. In said film, a WWI battalion of 500 men was sent into a key position in the center of a forest. There were supposed to be two more battalions aiding them; one French and another American. Well, the 500 man battalion made it to the key point but aid never showed up. It turns out, they were stuck in the center of the German forces. The men of this "Lost Battalion" fought off wave after wave of German invasion, holding their own under their major's orders. It was amazing to watch. The major was right by his men, fighting off hordes of Germans until there were less than 200 soldiers in the battalion still alive. Go see it.
War in itself is a fools mission. To go to battle is to die in battle; whther it be literally or figuratively. While you may come back, there's risk of after effects from gas, shell-shock syndrome, or even psychotic breakdowns.

Softly, now..
When I was a little boy, I dreamed of a star.
The sun and the moon.
The sky and the water.
Tomorrow is a bleeding memory in a collapsing boat we'll never rise from.
