To my Australian friends, be careful out there okay?

*I had all the fixings for pavlova except whipped cream. I also had some unsweetened organic coconut flakes. Letting the coconut brown on top of the pavlova was a success. The mango juice from the fruit soaked into the meringue. Omnomnom. It still is very weird throwing out the yokes, but there's no help for it.

* The Oscars have come and gone. why haven't they released Milk to theaters yet?

*I'm not big on the Oscars and have only watched two others in their entirety. I still like John Stewart better, but hugh Jackman is one sexy man and watching him dance and sing wasn't a bad second best. I have to admit the sound editor choked me up a little; he was just so happy and amazed to be there. The best actor speech pretty much rocked:
