I'm looking for art, fullbody, headshot, chibi... pretty much anything. However if you're going to draw a chibi, it must be an angry chibi... because he doesn't like being cute. XD
He's a character I'm looking to find ANY art for. Freebies will be much loved, but I'm also looking to BUY art. I pay for art ONLY UPON receiving the finished product. If you do not trust me, send me a watermarked copy first so that I can be sure I'm getting what I'm paying for. If paying in gaia gold, I have no problem with starting a trade to prove I have the gold, but I will not FINISH the trade until after I receive some sort of proof (watermark or such) that you really have completed my art. I've heard art horror stories before and I refuse to fall victim. Nothing personal.
Now down to what we're really here for... What you're going to be drawing:
There are TWO basic outfits this character wears. The first, is a black T-shirt (sleeveless or short sleeved. Either is fine.), black pants, and boots - pictured in many reference pictures below. Please take a look at the reference pictures. His hair may be tied up in the back, or down, but please follow the reference pictures and descriptions because his hair has specific color tones, as well as a specific style.
The second is a white, long-sleeved business type shirt with a black tie. He also wears RECTANGULAR, black, thin rimmed glasses. Think of the studious and handsome college professor when you draw the glasses. His pants are black slacks (picture a teacher's outfit), and brown or black dress shoes. (I really don't give a crap if they're brown or black, so have fun with that artistic freedom.) A brown belt as well will be incorporated into the outfit. In this outfit, he must have all of his piercings removed, and his hair MAY ONLY BE pulled back in a ponytail. See reference picture 5 for hairstyle. Any other questions about this outfit, feel free to ask!

The outfit in the above reference picture is the first outfit he wears. He wears this whenever he's not at work. Make sure it's all black (I know - lack of color equals lack of motivation for a lot of people. In this case, there is an alternate outfit he wears. That is outfit #2 and mentioned above and written in dark blue.), and that whatever shirt he's wearing, is sleeveless or short sleeved. NO checkered items though, please. Make sure his nails are painted black though, and long. He's gotta use them like claws. But not TOO long... Undertaker from Kuroshitsuji's nails would be too long. Just google it if you have no idea who that is. Or ask me and I shall provide you with an awesome picture of Undertaker's creepy nails. And important about this picture... THE BOOTS ARE PERFECT. If you can draw these exact boots or something VERY similar to them, I will love you forever. His boots should be heavy gothic boots that make noises when he walks.

The hair in this reference picture has the right idea. The bit of hair that comes down in front of his ears should go down a little below his chin, and the rest of his hair should go to about mid-back.

I forgot to mention to this artist not to add the black and white checkered wristband. I'm not too fond of it because it doesn't really seem like my character. So when doing you're drawing for me, please don't add the checkered wristband. Or anything checkered. As well, please try to separate the black in the entire picture, such as the black shirt from the belt, from the black pants so that it doesn't all smush together and look like a one piece outfit. As previously mentioned, the belt can be brown, black, white... but not checkered. As well remember to add the chain.
Please do not draw him in the boots in this picture. While I like the boots in this picture, I'd rather the boots in the first reference picture because they REALLY fit Gessekai's personality.
The skin color is pretty good. This is the shade his skin should be around. I also like that they gave him a lip piercing. It's up to you whether you want to do that or not. No nose piercings, eyebrow piercings, or other facial piercings unless otherwise approved by myself. If you want to do facial piercings, please let me know first!

This one is amazing. Way more than I expected. I must say I feel that the artist almost NAILED him. I must include this [x] however, because I loved the lines they had put in his hair during the sketch stage. This is the best version of his hair down that I have seen for Gessekai so far. If you look closely at the colored version, you can see that the artist actually did do a slight midnight blue highlight. A main reason I am very fond of his hair here, is because the hair looks light. Most of the previous artworks made his hair look almost heavy. His hair should not look heavy/greasy.

SO much love to Noirabu for this perfect drawing of Gessekai. The hair is perfect for being tied in the back! Not a lot of people gave it a shot tied up in the back, so I am thrilled to see it this way!

This artwork was drawn by Lorocien using their new tablet. I absolutely love that Loro drew Gessekai in his second outfit. As you can see the glasses, shirt, and tie are correct as well as the style of hair (pulled back). Whenever Gessekai is at work he has to appear professional - and long hair that is not tied back is generally not allowed for instructors at public schools.

Pose:I'll leave it up to you for EXACT pose... but some sort of cocky pose. Especially with the facial expression. Gessekai bounces between being extremely dangerous to very composed. He is very smug, but also very mysterious. I'd like to see something like that in his facial expression.
I like to think of him sitting in a chair a lot... but he's actually very active. I'll explain a little later in 'personality'

He's about 5'11" with long black hair that gives off a midnight blue shine. (If you can't make it black with a midnight blue shine then just black hair is cool) He has pointy elven-like ears (but they're rather short.... about the size of a normal human ear that's just a bit pointed near the tip) and two long strands of hair that set in front of his ears. So it's like 'strand of hair' ear 'rest of hair'. XD I suck at this description thing so ask me if something confuses you. Please take a look at the reference pictures if you're confused.
It is true that Gessekai is a vampire... however I'm reluctant to admit that because his fangs should only show if his mouth is open or his lips are curled up. And vampires have recently become exhausted in the media due to certain... pop culture icons. I almost resent the fact that he's a vampire, and would change it if it wasn't so important to the storyline.
Here is a written description of his hair straight out of the rough copy. Please remember his hair does not HAVE to be 'unbound'.

...He had long unbound black hair with a midnight blue shine. Two distinct strips of ebony hung down on both sides of his head, slightly separated from the rest of his long hair. The strips were just a bit shorter than the rest of his hair and might have been confused for forelocks if he didn’t already have some that practically covered his eyes. These strange strips stayed in front of his ears, covering them up...
He should appear around TWENTY ONE years of age. His skin is tanned... nicely tanned actually, and his eyes are a dark reddish brown. It's shown in many of the reference pictures.
OUTFIT #1:Please make sure his pants are tucked into his boots when drawing him in outfit #1. You do not have to tuck his shirt in, but I do want to be able to see the belt and the chain on his belt. Around his neck he wears a leather collar with a silver crucifix. Around his wrists he wears various bracelets and chains (you can just draw black cloth cuffs if you'd like, but send me an example first before adding it to the drawing).
IMPORTANT ACCESSORIES: Black finger nails... the length of his nails are about the size you'd see on just a normal woman.
His ears are pierced... there's one hoop in his left ear lobe... then three studs climbing up the side of his ear, the first one is bigger than the rest, and then it slowly gets smaller.... then at the top near the cartilage of his ear there are two smaller hoops. Then his right ear is a stud on his lobe, then two small hoops near the top.
If that's hard to figure out then just give him multiple piercings on each ear, which includes a mixture of small hoops and studs.
PERSONALITY:
His name is Gessekai and he is a vampire as previously mentioned. He was born a vampire, and is very powerful and rather cocky about his lineage. He believes he is better than everyone else, but has a terrible, bloody past that he has tried to forget. He is said to have murdered his own father, and has a rather corny nick-name that he despises, 'Devil's Son Gessekai'.
Though he appears to have an ego the size of the sky (endless) he is actually a very complicated guy. He likes to joke around with people he trusts(the number of which are few). He often finds himself feeling lonely and forsaken, and covers up the feeling by going out and beating down others. He has a few mental issues that need working out, but by far the worst issue is his anger management.
Hopefully that's all you'll need. If you need more let me know, or if you need me to rephrase or elaborate let me know too.
Sorry about the HUGE freaking description thing... I'm not very good at making things short and compact... but I tried. ^^;;
