Name: Molly Hastings
Age: 17
Aliases/ Nicknames: Mar, Mar-chan (to those who speak Japanese as their first language...)
Physical Description: Tall for a girl, Molly measures almost five-foot-nine inches (174 cm). She has chin-length, wavy brown hair, cut slightly shorter in the back. Both her eyes display yellow-green/brown central heterochromia x Since her 150 pounds are mostly muscle, Molly looks like she weighs less than she actually does. She dislikes her "linebacker" shoulders, but knows she has a good figure and wears clothing that accents that. While preferring to wear ruffled blouses with vests, dark jeans, and high-heeled boots, she wears a more traditional uniform when necessary. Only her left ear is pierced, and her cross hangs from it.
Quincy Cross: Her Celtic cross x (more Quincy-like image to come) is usually worn as an earring in her right ear, but she holds it in her hand to form a crossbow, which (like a normal crossbow) requires more power to use, can only fire short bursts of power, which "reload" slowly, but which sail farther and penetrates more than an arrow shot from a longbow.
Skills: Talented with languages, speaking English, Latin, German, and Japanese (in that order). A skilled bow and gun hnter
Personality: Molly is intense, but not usually focused, a trait which is mirrored by the powerful but sporadic ability of her crossbow. She jokes around a lot, but since her jokes are usually puns or sarcasm, people often miss when she's joking. Friendly to almost everyone, her dislike of others is usually shown in a cool politeness towards them. She likes hanging out with people of both genders, but always in the back of her mind, the nagging thought of "What if he/she likes me? What should I do?" keeps her from ever getting too close to people. More of a follower than a leader, Molly prefers to work alone, since she is something of a perfectionist, and hates when things are not done "properly".
Biography/History: Molly is Canadian. Nothing bothers her more than hearing someone say that they are from "America" when they are really from the U.S.A. since Canada is part of North America. Homeschooled up until about three years ago, Molly and her two younger sisters were raised in a Christian (Baptist) household by her parents. He father was the pastor of their small, rural church, and her mother homeschooled all of the children (a full time job if there ever was one). She learned to ignore the blurred forms at the corner of her vision, and brush off all attempts to acknowledge her almost eerie speed at locating people. However, that quickly changed during a summer mission trip to Japan. Caught up in the struggle between Shingami and Hollows, with both sides wanting her dead, Molly has the horrible feeling that something is very wrong with her world. Attempting to keep her faith, but struggling with the discrepancy between what she was taught about the spiritual world and what she sees every day, Molly struggles constantly in an attempt to balance her faith with the facts.
