Andy quietly snuck into Liegh's room and asked her if he could sleep in her room. He told her about the boy, and Liegh decided to keep him in her room for a while.
April 12, 1994, Liegh's mother and Andy were home together. Liegh was over at a friend's house. Andy was reluctant to play alone, so he stayed in his mother's office and played while she worked. He suddenly heard the boy's voice.
"Mama, do you hear that?" he asked her quietly.
She turned her head and looked at him puzzledly, "No, honey. What do you hear?"
He stood and wandered around the house curiously. The little boy was standing at the end of the hall, watching him with those wide, crystal blue eyes. Andy stared back at the boy, unsure how to react.
"She's coming..." he warned, and disappeared as the lights in the hall went out.
Andy felt very cold all of a sudden, and felt someone behind him. He turned his head slowly. It was only his mother.
"Sweety, what are you doing?" she asked, taking him back downstairs.
Andy felt very uneasy, and wanted to tell Liegh when she came home. She was the only one that believed him about the voices and the boy.
