Sy Hearsh is alleging that Cheney had his own assassination squad that reported only to him. We are deep into Bond villain territory here. Please, please can we have war crimes trials? People have been tortured and murders, others have had their lives ruined. If we let this go unpunished, it means we condone it. 	I'm not at all surprised. In fact, I just assumed it was a given that Cheney had his own assassination squad that reported only to him. In tribal societies, schizophrenics were considered 'touched by the gods', and so revered. Paranoids were considered too dangerous, and so banished at best. But in modern, Western society, we do the exact opposite: schizophrenics are cast out and often left homeless, while paranoids are elected to high public office. Is it any surprise we're all going to hell in a handbasket?
