Today I decided not to take a book to read to school with me since I figured I'd use the time between classes to study. Foolish me. Well technically I did bring a book but it was in Japanese, and the tiny hiragana (I couldn't read the kanji so had to refer to the hiragana next to the kanji) hurt my eyes, it took reading one page for me to start getting a headache and also I don't understand enough Japanese to read a book, manga or otherwise (this book was a manga).
I normally have 40 minutes between writing and math and then 40 minutes between Math and Japanese. The first break I figured I'd use to study for my math test and the 2nd one to study for my Japanese test. But then my English class was canceled and I was left with an extra 1 hour 20 minutes and nothing to do. I knit and studied math and Japanese, so at this point I was totally prepared for my Japanese test, but then obviously I finished my math class a half hour early because we didn't have a lecture after the test, so now I had 1 hour and 20 minutes and nothing to do.
So I decided to stretch and practice my clogging dance but that took only 20 minutes, I would have practiced longer but I wasn't wearing exercise clothes so I was sweating a lot with not way to cool down. And now nothing to do again... I knit for a bit, then studied more for the test that I was already prepared for; fortunately one of my classmates showed up early and so I talked to them until it was time for class.
Moral: Never forget to bring a book to read when you go to school. If you forget you will surely need it, so always bring one.
