A Congressman was claiming we needn't worry about global warming as it was good for dinosaurs and I quote "There is a theological debate that this is a carbon-starved planet." Also, may I point to some republican primary candidates raising their hands to show they didn't believe in evolution last year.
Of course there are Christians perfectly capable of understanding science and using logic. I went to an Episcopalian K-12 school with a first rate science program. The point is that not only does a large portion of the huge evangelical population of the United States think this way, but a scary amount of Republican politicians/law makers think this way.
I don't know about you, but it scares the s**t out of me.
