Knock-knock
Itachi muttered something and rolled out of bed. Kyo was fast asleep the medicien was keeping her asleep. It had probably worn off by now, but Itachi was gussing that the effects of the tuskuyomi were playing a part. Yawning the Uchiha went over too the door and cracked it enough too see who it was. Seeing Leader-sama there made Itachi fully open the door. "Yes?" He said quietly so he wouldn't disturb the red head still sleeping. "Surpirsed that no one is dead." Pein said just as quietly. Itachi raised an eye brow. Sure the two of them didn't get along, but they (or at least Itachi) wouldn't go that far.
Down the hall and silently listening in was the appearently over protective Zetsu. "If you wanna check her pluse you can." He heard Itachi whisper too Leader-sama. "That's alright I can tell she's still breathing correctly." Leader-sama replyed. Zetsu felt better afterr hearing that, but upon hearing footsteps he disappeared back into the kitchen.
Itachi walked back over too Kyo and gently shook her. "Hey time too get up." Kyo groand and removed his hand from her shoulder. "Five more minutes Kabuto-sensei..." She muttered making Itachi raise his eye brow again. What the heck was she dreaming about? And why'd she call Kabuto 'sensei' anyways? Both answers might come later. Itachi was getting curious about her past now. What was her connection with Orochimaru.
Itachi was about to shake her again when the neck of the girls sweater (for he had not bothered too change her clothes. He wasn't about to do that) fell off her shoulder. Itachi stopped what he was about too say and saw a burise like mark on the back of her neck. Upon looking closer Itachi found that it was actually the Heavens Curse Mark. It hadn't been sealed either. That must be how she didn't pass right out after being in the tsukuyomi. 'The curse mark...why would Orochimaru go out of his way for a plain old girl?' Itachi though and came to think that Kyo might not be just a plain old girl.
Itachi thought back too the fight they had. Kyo had used some jutsu that used feathers and a bright light right before that. Whatever that light was must be what Orochimaru wanted. But then...how did she escape? Orochimaru wasn't the kind of person too let a teenage girl go like that. Did she somehow escape and was now on the run from him? Itachi looked out his window just to make sure. He got too thinking about the room with the pint sized version of Kyo in it. Her hair had been longer then. Maybe cutting it was a way to hide herself. Pein probably knew what was going on. He'd make sure to ask.
Kyo muttered something and put her good arm over her eyes again. The light was hurting her bright orange eyes even through her eye lids. "Itachi?" Kyo muttered sounding like she was still half asleep. "What time is it?" Kyo asked. "Just after 7:30 am." Itachi said walking back over to her and left the curtains open. "Now, tell me. Why is Kabuto your...sensei?" Itachi said. Kyo was still just barely breathing.
'....ugh...I gotta explain this again?' She thought dreading the moment has she heard Itachi get closer and a few seconds later sit on her side of the bed. "You said. "Five more minutes Kabuto-sensei" a minute ago when I tried to get you up." Itachi explained to her and then she felt him place a hand on her left shoulder. "And...your sweater...fell off your shoulder..." Itachi stopped when he realized she knew what he was talking about. Her face was pale...er. Her eyes showed shock, then she looked wraily at him and sighed, replacing her arm over her eyes. "I'm sure that you get the jist of it now...right?"
Kyo was acting rather strangly. First she looked rather tired. Itachi blew that one off. Then she looked like she didn't want to repeat herself. Like a mother would do if a child hadn't been paying attention. Itachi want to hit her for that look, but thought better of it. The well known and greatly disliked Uchiha nodded. "Yeah, but I want to know more." Itachi said and a thousand questions buzzed around in her head. "Shoot." Kyo muttered and turned her head away from him. Itachi took that as a open gesture too ask. "Why does Orochimaru want you?" Itachi asked.
Kyo sighed. "I...I'm...not what you call...huaman..." She said.
