as i gasped for breath, i had looked around at my surroundings. who was i? where was i? why am i here? these and many more questions rushed through my head. the room i was in was a tranquil, dark and silence was brought to a new meaning. i could smell a faint metallic scent, but strangely sweet at the same time. what is that smell i wondered. i stumbled to my feet, after a few minutes, i presume. i looked around for something, anything at all to see what i looked like, or something to drink from. my stomach growled menacingly, deadlier than a grizzly bear mother protecting her cubs. it would appear to me i hadn't eaten in atleast a few hours, maybe even a day or two. i wasn't sure. i felt my way around until i found a hard wooden wall. i braced myself upon it and felt around. i felt something small, it had a kind of tip to it. i wanted to see if it was a switch, but i didn't know what it could possibly be for besides the lights. i flicked it upward. a humming sound is heard from above near the lights. the light flicked on and off a few times. then the lights flicked back on and stayed on. that light was a bright white, a pale stale white. there was a figure laying in a pool of a dark liquid. i approached the figure, and my foot got stuck in the liquid. i bent down to wipe a finger in it to examine it. it had the same smell, the same faint metallic scent, but strangely sweet at the same time scent. it grew annoying. when i had a better look at the liquid on my finger tips, i noticed it was a deep crimson color. almost like blood. could it be that this person had been killed? i had to find out. i walked up to the figure and checked for a pulse. i place my fingers on their neck near the vein. there was no pulse...i then flipped the figure over so it's stomach was in the air. the face was stainded crimson. the dried blood was around the throat, and mouth. the sight almost made me me vomit, i could taste the bile in the back of my mouth. i choaked it back down. i knelt by the dead person closing their eyes and saying a prayer. i wasn't religous, but i didn't know if this person was. i looked the body up and down for any sign of indication. his hand was clenched around somehting...did i dare open his hand? i sighed in sorrow for what i had to do. i didn't really want to but if it could help me, i had to. pried back the hands fingers. rigimortus had sucken in, "damn it" i sighed and i heard three pops. the pops where that of his fingers i thought. i had to pretty much break all of his fingers off to get what was in his hand. a silver key fell from his hand with a folded up note. the key had a carving of the number 3 on it.
"three? three what?" i shouted. then i picked up the note and unfolded it. it read: " welcome to my game. you must work your way out of this sanitarium. this is a sight where tens of millions of people died by atomic bomb radiation. some say there are still mutant surviors that roam around these halls. the key with this note is to the front door to my eastate, there are three other keys. there are four locks, you do the math. one in each end of the property. the esate is only esapeible through the main door, all other exits have been blocked by three inches of reinforced steel. you may use what ever you wish to get the three other keys. you must complete a challange to get a key. your first challange is to easape this room before you die from the ceiling colapsing upon you like a grape. the house is rigged with traps. i am recording this on the camaras through out the house. the house has six floors above you and 3 below you. plus the underground floors, and the rest of my estate. you have to search all of this to find the six keys to unlock the main door. best of luck to whom ever is reading this. see you soon.

"interesting....what did he mean about the floor colapsing upon me like a grape?" i said looking at the crumbling, mossy, crimson stained ceiling.
after about what seemed an eturnity the ceiling began to fall. i had to think quick. well i figured i wouldn't want to see my death so, a little before it came down and hit me i would hit the lights off. the sound of the ceiling rumbling down scared me to insanity. i ran around the room aimlessly. i was looking for anything to help me live. the ceiling was comming closer to my head. i rushed for my life toward the light switch. i barely hit the switch down, as the ceiling brushed my hair. the ceiling was on top of my head, i used my arms to try to hild it off, or slow it down, no such luck. when the lights died the ceiling froze. then slowly began to rise again. "what the ******** hell?!" i said looking at the black ceil above my head. i thought to myself for a few moments. "what if the light switch also controled the ceiling?" was the question the raced through my mind. i had to see if the switch did. i flicked the switch back upward. sure enough the as soon as the lights came back on the ceiling began to drop again. i walked toward the door slowly. i turned the knob of the door, and it was locked?! i looked around the room for a way to unlock the door. but there was only the one switch. that could only mean one thing...i walked toward the light switch and flicked it back up. this time i listened to every noise i heard. i heard a click and then gears turning. i thought it was the door. only one way to find out...i flicked the light switch back down. "i got this....now all i need is a rock or something to throw." i said as i panned the room from left to right. i switched the lights back off. then walked over to where the corpse had been. i riped off a finger. the loud crack, and pop almost mad me vomit, and again i could taste the bile and choaked it back down. the blood dripped down my hand, and on to the floor. the scent of metal, that was sweet grew stronger. the corpse was pumping out out more blood from the hand with four fingers. i figured i had to throw the finger at the light switch then run toward the door.

from darkness to darkness
ashes to ashes

light to shadow
all light fades from view
the darkness returns
blood clotted in a darkened pool
