In my experience I've watched, without being watched.
Seen without being seen.
But also I've learned, and even taught.
My heart has broken countless times, and countless times I've pieced it together again.
I've yearned for someone but not known who...
I've lost what I held closest to my heart and seen it fade
I have loved and payed for my love with tears and heartbreak
But I have hated and felt lonelieness to the point of heartache
I have seen a thousand faces and heard their story as if it were my own
I have walked a thousand miles and known the journey has just begun
I have called a thousand names, and heard no answer
and I have spoken a thousand words, only for them to be caught on the barrior between us.
so I have learned while sometimes what you see is not always what you get, sometimes you have to look beyond and not trust your sight to see the truth the beauty and the wonder behind closed gates.
