Monster world chapter 13 the search continues

With his shadow dragons beaten, stripes had no choice but to make a hastey retreat. He returned to his castle, disappointed and furious at his own men. He yelled at them; What happened back there? The six of you had them backed into a corner and they defeated you when you let your guards down and it's all because that girl swung that fragment into the ground. His yelling made the shadow dragons cower in fear for they had made stripes mad with disappointment, and when he's mad he destroys stuff to releive his anger. But today he was going to let it slide. Sigh, nomatter. I thought something like this might happen, so I made a backup plan and i put it into action before we left. Oh shadow blades. Suddenly, stripes shadow warriors appeared with a large amount of energy to hand over to their evil master. Did anyone from outside the village see you? He asked. They shook their heads as a way of saying no. Good, because I don't want anyone finding out about our plans. Those children are troublesome enough as it is. And when I get my body back, they will be the first to feel my wrath. Stripes told them while clinching his ghostly claws together in both of his hands, and then they went to his chamber room in order to fill up those magic jars. But Stripes didn't follow them. He just floated by a window in his potion chamber, looking out at the empty, plantless field that surrounded his nighmaresh castle. He couldn't stop thinking about his new enemies. Someone must have told those children about the fragments, and there's only one person besides me that knows the spirit sword is real. Koji it was you, you sent them to stop me.( I wont let him get in my way again). It seems that stripes has already planned his next move. But he'll need time to make it work.

Meanwhile, rose was helping striker and the others recover from their long and harsh battle. Out of all of them, chameleon and ziran had sustained the most injuries. But it was nothing that boa's potions couldn't fix, he was in the middle of making soem potions when ziran impatiently asked; Sigh, boa are you done yet? Almost and don't rush me ziran. You'll get one soon enough. Boa told the impatient ziran. What are you making anyway? Rose asked in observation of boas' potion brewing. Medicine., Was all he had to say. Rose was trying to help boa in anyway that she could but it looks like he has it all under control. Um okay, i'll go see if the others are okay. She then proceeded to the living room. Sarah was tending to striker and chameleon's injuries which were just a few bruises and cuts, but nothing serious. There now, does that feel better? Sarah asked. Yeah it does. Much better. Thank you. They both said seperately. You're welcome. She said to them very happily. Boa walked in with 2 healing potions in hand. Hey guys, catch! Boa shoouted before throwing the bottle to striker and chameleon. They both caught them and proceeded to drink them. Thanks, I needed that. Striker said gratefully. Chameleon said nothing . You're welcome pal. Boa said. Sarah turned her attention away from striker and towards boa and then she noticed that rose was standing next to him. She looked curious and concerned about something. Oh hi rose. Is everything okay? Sarah asked a bewildered rose. Oh nothing, it's just that I never saw anyone fight like you guys before. Just where did you guys learn to do all that? She asked them curiously. We learned our moves from our sensei koji. Sarah said. Koji was the one who told us about the spirit sword fragments. Ziran said as he walked in, totally dropping in on the conversation. Koji? Why does that name sound so familiar to me? Chameleon said after being quiet for so long but no one was paying attention to him. I wonder how he's doing since we left. Striker said Oh I hope he's okay. Boa said in a worried tone.

Now we turn back to koji's dojo. Koji was in the meditating garden. He was using his heighten sinces and magic to moniter his students progress from inside these old yet tranquil walls. But even there, it felt like they were struggling constantly just to win a fight. Koji was becoming worried. (They are safe for the moment But who knows when and stripes will strike again.) Koji broke out of his trance and got up. (He leaves me no choice. I must go find them and aid them in any way I can) He thought. He got up and walked towards the door but he stopped as a ring of smoke appeared out of nowhere. The smoke cleared, only to reveil a dozen sword carrying shadow warriors surropunding the wise old barrier.Koji was a bit nervous but he kept himself calm. Koji knew this could only mean that stripes still considers him to be a threat. So stirpes, you still use these mindless fiends to do your bidding? He asked, rhetorically. The warriors came at him full force, koji kept his guard up and he counter attacked. he easily dodged all of their attacks and beat them to the ground using only his walking staff. The shadow warriors disappeared. You'll have to do better than that if you want to kill me stripes. Koji said and continued towards the door leading out of the garden and back into the dojo.


Meanwhile, striker,ziran, boa and chameleon were still recooperating in order to ready themselves, so they could handle another ambush caused by stripes' lackies. Rose was having a conversation with sarah in the kitchen and She had alot of questions for sarah that she needed to be answered. So sarah, are you really from another world? Rose asked in all curiousity. Yes, we call it earth. She said in a happy tone but deep down, she missed her family and friends alot. Earth? Tell me, whats earth like?! Is it beautiful? Rose asked her purple haired friend. Oh it's very beautiful. There's flowers, trees, grass, and those can be found in a park. (gasps) Oh my gosh. Sarah gasped, having remembered the day she came to monstra. What's the matter sarah? You look worried. Rose thoughtfully asked her seemingly worrisome friend. I just remembered, I was suppose to meet my old friend taylor in the park on the day that I came here. I hope she isn't upset with me. Sarah had said with a pout. Don't worry, when you go home, you can tell her why you weren't there. I'm sure she'll understand. Rose told sarah this in order to calm her down and it worked but sarah had no idea how she'd ever explain all of this to taylor. Taylor would probably think that sarah made it all up.

Now we look back at the planet earth. Hardly any time has passed since sarah wished herself away. In the park, her old friend taylor was walking towards the very tree sarah sat under, only to find that she wasn't there. Where is she? I thought she would be here by now. She said, looking around the park. Aw well, I guess i'll wait for her here. Taylor said. Taylor then decided to wait for sarah under that tree. Taylor is about the same age as sarah as well as the same height. She has long dark brown hair, blue eyes and good taste in clothes and boys alike. Sigh. (I hope she gets here soon. We haven't done anything fun since summer started). She thought while relaxing under the tree.

Back in rose's living room, the boys were having a more serious conversation and stripes was the main subject. I think that if we keep going like this, stripes will only keep coming after us and the dangers will only get worse and worse. Boa told his friends in all honesty. Oh come one boa. You know as well as I do that stripes and his stupid goons can't stop us. We have three fragments and he doesn't have any of them. Ziran told his pessimistic friend. You both raise a good point. stripes isn't giving up and we shouldn't either. Striker said as a means to raise ziran and boa's confidence and prevent them from bickering. Excuse my interuption but you guys have two fragment and I have one. Stripes will never have mine and neither will you bozos. Chameleon selfishly said his point of view to them. Think what you want but like it or not, your fragment will be ours. Boa scoffed at the hunter. Well if we have three of the six fragments then that means that we have three more to find. Ziran said, reviewing their progress. Hey you're right ziran. Wait till koji hears about this. Striker excitily said. Till I hear about what?! Said a mysterious yet familiar voice coming from the front door. Everyone looked in the direction of the door to see that koji was there. Master koji. Striker, ziran and boa said in unison.

Their sudden outbust brought sarah and rose to the living room. Sarah was as excited to see koji as the boys were, but rose and chameleon had no idea who the old man is. Who i s he? Rose and chameleon asked at the same time. This is koji our master. Striker said but koji interrupted him. Im sorry but there's no time for introductions my son. He stated respectfully. Is something wrong master? Boa asked, seeing how exausted koji looked. Yes, stripes' soldiers tried to ambush me in my own dojo. Koji told them which only surprised his students in a bad way. What!? They all shouted in shock and worry. Even chameleon looked surprised. I knew he would come after me but his soldiers were no match for me. He said but he was more tired then he was letting on. Now what was it you wanted to tell me? He asked striker. Oh we found two spirit sword fragments. Striker said, still a bit shook up by koji's arrival. You have? Show me! He asked. Rose and chameleon showed their fragments. They were the fragments of earth and wind. Impressive but we'll need to move faster if we are to find the other three. Koji said while breathing heavily. Sarah was worried about him. Are you sure your alright master? She asked. Yes, i'm fine. But may I ask why there's a hunter here? Koji asked. Oh him? That's chameleon, he followed us here. Ziran told him only half the truth because he didn't want to get koji worried. You got a problem with me old man? Chameleon asked the old man who was looking at him. No, except that hunters aren't very social with others creatures. He said. Then rose jumped in the conversation. Hey guys, I just remembered that my dad'll be home soon. Would you all like to meet him. Rose asked suddenly. Sure rose. What about you guys? Sarah said. The boys all nodded except for chameleon who was looking at sarah. He had a hint of blush on his face. Sorry chumps I gotta go, see ya. He ran out and he didn't look back. What's up with him? Striker asked. He's probably upset over losing to us again. Ziran said, seeing as the hunter walked out suddenly. Don't say that ziran! sarah said. Why not? He's mean and down right arrogant, you know that as well as I do. Ziran said back at sarah. Koji was surprised to hear him say that. Oh, you defeated that hunter? All by yourselves? He asked in awe. Yup. Sarah said. Very impressive. Koji Then turned to rose who was looking at him curoiusly and said; I'm sorry young lady, what's your name? Rose behemoth. She said to him which caught his attenion. Behemoth? I know that name. He said.

Meanwhile chameleon was up in a tree near rose's home. Trying to get ahold of himself. (What am I doing? Hunters don't associate with their prey. But there's something about that girl, sarah that seems likeable to me. Oh if father finds out about this, he'll destroy me.) He thought, having only just remembered that his dad is waiting for him to come back. Personally, he loathes his father for puttting him through harsh training, like putting him inside a large cage with a griffin and he made chameleon fight it until one of them falls and believe it or not, he won. The worst part is that his father is the grand king of the hunters and his name is charles iguana the third so he has high expectations for chameleon. Chameleon looked down at his sword fragment. Maybe this alone is what I need to beat those four. Chameleon grinned before going back down to the ground.

Back in the house, koji was wondering if rose was related to someone he knew. Sarah was still thinking about her friend back home and she really missed her. (Man I wish taylor was here) She thought and her locket glowed. The others took notice. Sarah, why is your locket glowing? Rose asked. It does that whenever I make a wish on it. She answered but she was nervous about it. Back on the earth, taylor was sitting under the tree and then without warning she was swept away by a gust of wind. Ahhh, what is up with this wind? she said before vanishing. It seems that sarahs wishing has got another person sent to monstra. Taylor was sent through the same portal that sarah went through and man was she terrified. Ahhhhhh. She screamed all the way through it. Will she land safely and just where will she end up? And what will stripes do now that koji is involved? Find out in chapter 14.
