Life... one word meaning one spirit, one mind and body, one time period of a being. As complex as human beings think they are, there is still no solution to the meaning of life. What is life, and what is the goal? Well, to me life is a path we all must walk alone. There is never a destination until you make one. Of course, there are always signs to help guide you to your goal. But, there is always that fork in the road, where we must choose. And our minds always change what goal we want to acheive. There are always those tiny bumps in the road, good memories, happy days. And those other bumps that we imagine to be walls we must climb over. Those bumps that change your path altogether. They aren't walls. They're as big as you imagine. Some bumps bring heartache, and some bring joy. Some people don't like the path they are on, so they try to escape to their own fantasy. But we all must come to realization; life is reality. And with reality comes those tiny joyful bumps and tiny sad bumps in the path. As for me, I sometimes don't take the time to stop and smell the roses. To enjoy those joyful bumps. But I always seem to get past the sad bumps, even if I don't forget and if I regret. My favorite way of getting away from reality is in my dreams. Always a new adventure to discover as my imagination takes over my mind. I can never freely do anything in my dreams, though. I always play as some other character in the dream and experience what they experience. Fascinating, yes? But then I wake up to a new journey on my own path. Time to face reality again. But it is still an adventure, just not as grand as a dream.
