It's apparently been a while since i've posted anything in this blog, so i think it's time for a much needed update lol. So far the only things that have changed since my last post is that I've started summer classes, and (my) Story Thus Far has been in two gigs & is rapidly getting more! xd I can only hope it keeps going that way lol. *knocks on wood*
The band (which recently gained a keyboardist) keeps sounding better and better as we keep blending more and more. The only thing is that the guitarist WON"T STOP WRITING SONGS! He's already reached 100 plus! And that's only in the course of the last MONTH!!! (and no signs of stopping either...) But on the bright side, at least we won't run out of material for a LONG time hahaha! 3nodding
But anyhow, our most recent gig (just got home from it) was the best one yet! Too bad we only had about 25 people show up sweatdrop and the one person i really wanted to come couldn't make it... emo oh well. We've got plenty of other gigs coming up, so we'll make up for the slack lol (and we DVD'd the entire concert [almost... stare ] so the one person i really wanted to come can see it; just because she can't make it doesn't mean she should miss out blaugh ). There's just one hitch...
Which brings me to my next subject: summer classes (yay-NOT stare ) The only reason i'm even taking 'em is to graduate faster, and the schedule's not too bad; I only have 2 classes (an afternoon on Monday & Wednesday and a night on Tues & Thurs), but there's the problem. With the way my schedule pans out, it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to plan a practice or a gig! We've already had to move ONE gig cuz of it! But in the long run I think it'll be worth it 3nodding . I'll be able to get into my field MUCH faster, and the degree's the same calibur as a high-end art school's, so finding a job shouldn't be too much of a prob (i hope... confused ) In the short sprint, well, we'll work it out i'm sure.
That's all for now! See you in the next chapter!
Peace Love and ROK!!!!!!
