If anybody actually reads this, then I am so sorry you have nothing better to do. I have neglected this poor little journal and I plan to make it right...by scrapping the random pages. I really AM going to keep a daily journal, starting on Friday. Let me get you caught up;
We read Julius Caeser in English. Favorite quote from my teacher, "Well, okay Kyle. Just try not to hurt yourself too much when you die!"
~Explanation of Quote~
*clears throat, immitates male narrator-voice from most fairytale opening scenes*
Once upon a time, in a private Christian school far, far away, there was a Sophomore english class. Now, I know what you're thinking; "So what? It's just English!" But this is not the case. No, this was a very....eherm...special english class; an english class with the most intelligent students of the subject.
Now, those stereotypes of geniuses being eccentric? In this particular case, those stereotypes are perfect descriptions of the students. Some were lazy, some were messy, and others just couldn't give a damn. Kyle was of the last example.
It was a Tuesday, and the class was playing out the assassination scene, and Kyle was to be the illustrious Julius Caesar. However, this posed a problem, for Brian (playing the part of the -shorter- Casca) was a good two feet taller than 'Caesar.' This would not do! So, Kyle proceeded to pull up a desk to stand on.
The instructor of this class, a very sweet woman really, at first protested, worried about what may happen when Kyle would have to fall to the ground in 'agony' over his stab wounds. She ended up allowing it in the end, producing the quote "Well, alright Kyle. Just try not to hurt yourself too much when you die!"
Ironically, Kyle did not hurt himself from the fall, but rather decided to crawl away in agony (despite already being dead) and managed to smack his head against a thick metal cabinet.
