So I just got back from Italy. Wonderful place, but it meant I'm way behind on quotes. Alas however, I'm starting to wonder if anyone is actually reading these. So does it really matter? Oh well, here's a quote anyway.
Quote of the Day: "No man was ever wise by chance"- Seneca
My thoughts: Truth. We can't be wise without trying. Wisdom requires time, and it requires learning experiences. No one is born with the wisdom of an elderly person. Or born with the experiences needed to make them wise. Wisdom requires living, living through life when it is good. But especially life when it is bad. Because when it is bad, that is when we learn the most. We learn the most about ourselves, and about the people around us. It's those times that give us wisdom, it's those times that make us stronger. It's hard to say when we become wise. I think the moment we think we are wise we aren't. It's like that game that boys play, you know the one. The one with three rules? The one I always question why it's played when it seems you can do nothing but lose? They say the second you think about the game you lose, just like when you think you are wise you aren't. Instead you are a fool who has deceived yourself into believing you are wise. Wisdom I think is reserved for those who don't realize they have it. Those who simply share their experiences simply because they know that they will teach others, not thinking about what wise lesson they will teach the ones who were hearing it. So listen to those you consider wise, and ignore those who tell you they are wise.

Quotes of the Days
So it's summer and I'm bored. Here's what I'm gonna do. Everyday I'm going to find a quote and then tell you what I think. Whether that be what I think about what it means, or what I think about it in general we'll see.

I would think that living and experiencing etc is the road to wisdom, but you don't get those things by trying to live and experience. Wisdom is an accidental product of that. So all men (and women) are wise by chance.
