Ok this all happened last night at about 3:30 AM...
I was just up in my room sleeping and all of a sudden my mom comes up and she wakes me and my sister up and she's like "Where's Maddie? Have you seen her?" (Maddie is our sweet dog, she's a Border Collie mix)
And then i hear barking out my window and i say "Isn't that her barking?" (I would know her bark anywhere) And then my mom's like "I don't know is it?' So of course, i get up and go downstairs and look around. And sure enough, she wasn't in the house. My mom went outside to look on the chain and she wasn't there, so i went out to listen for her. Then i heard her barking from across the street. So i start walking towards the barking and while im walking, i'm thinking, this is crazy, walking across the street to get my dog at 3:00 AM while im barefoot. When i finally get to her, i see that she has her leash on that we use when we put her outside on. So my mom put her outside at some point, and she somehow managed to get loose. I also noticed that the reason she wasn't running away from me (like she usually does when someone's trying to catch her) is because the leash is stuck underneath a shed! First i tried to get the leash unstuck but that wasn't gonna happen so i lest that there and just unhooked it from her collar. Right when i did she stared to drag me down the driveway (she's really strong) and i was relieved when i got her home. My mom was amazed that i knew it was her barking, and that i was able to find her. She said thanks to me and we went to sleep after that. The End! =D
