i lay here thinking of her
wondering what she's doing

if she's up thinking
if she's down dreaming

her name runs through my mind
like birds flying through the sky

i can hear her dreams
i can hear her callings

i know what she wants
i know what she feels

she's hurt now
and wanting me

i want to heal her
but i don't want to hurt her

she wants me there
but i should not go

she calls me there
but i call her here

where shall we go
i think to myself laying awake
