I look down with tears staining my pale cheeks
as you sit next to me.
You pick my head up
and smile as you kiss me.

Your kiss is like a sweet tart,
leaving my whole body tingling as you let go.
As we kiss time starts going slow.
Time stops as I gaze into your eyes,
and time speeds up as you say your good-byes.

I watch you walk down that dark,
empty,
lonely hallway in hoping for you to stay.
Now my tears stain my broken heart as I get up,
turn,
and walk the other way.
