Day one in my journal.
I'm running away from home for good and I am not going back. My father died when I was young and i live with my mother alone. I can not stand the way she does not recognize even though I'm still alive and right next to her. She does not even look at me. The food she brings in is only for her so I have to go and bring in my own food. I do not have a room, I sleep in the living room. Sometimes she gets up screaming, still sleeping, and throws me out of the house and then i have sleep by the door. My clothes i leave in my secret spot over by the creek which is not to far from where i live.The creek is the only thing that has kept here. If I'm not home being ignored by my mother I'm playing at the creek with my best friend Luther. I have things my father wrote hidden there. Nothing important just letters to people. Luther taught me how to read, but i will talk more about Luther more later in the story. By the way my name is Rogue. Funny name right, It's not the name my mother picked for me but my father used to call me it although i never asked him why.
