Idea 1:
This is the world, year 2167. No, technology did not advance to extremes as we predicted. Let me tell you why.
In the year 2056, humans were striving, creating new technologies. We did in fact have hover cars and faster ways of transportation. But then a planet crashed into Earth, leaving a giant crater where Australia used to be. Different species that we thought were only alive in myths came off of the planet as it went its different way; directly into the Sun. Earth had been turned upside down. People feared the new comers more than they ever feared anything before, and because world leaders thought they were trying to invade, a war broke out between the humans and the newly introduced species.
In the year 2158 a peace treaty was signed and the war ceased. 102 pointless years of fighting and death had passed all because of fear.
Now the world is being revived and everyone refers to it as the New Era. Cities are being rebuilt, higher technology is making its way into our world again, and everyone is getting along fine for the most part, but that's only because of the treaty. Deep down the different species really truly don't like each other.
A high class school that survived the war re-opened with one idea in mind; to make peace between the children of the New Era. Will the New Era's children help to finally restore peace to the world, or will chaos reign again? Only the future holds the answers.
Idea 2:
Love. Such a wonderful thing, right? But what happens when love is arranged? Stupid right? I mean, especially when it's to forge alliances. But.. what if that's what's happening?
Every species has it's quirks with each other, but their leaders all come up with an idea: Marry off the royal children to royal children of other species in hopes of making an alliance. Of course, this idea wasn't widely welcomed at first, but then it seemed like the only solution.
Will this fix their problems? How do the royal children feel about it? What will happen? Is this really the only solution?
Only you can decide.

--(you come up with the name :,D) was the founder of the school for the gifted. His billionaire inheritance came to him at the age of 21 and he made this school as a sanctuary for all. He later gave it to his adopted granddaughter as a birthday gift and she became president of the school's student cousnsel and has all the power to do as she pleases. (name here :,D) is now ill and being kept hidden while (granddaughter's name here :,D) stays at the school to look over it for her grandfather. As to be assumed, this is no regular school..
Especially with the fact that there is a school to rival it. Seiko Minozawa is the headmistress at Minozawa's School for the Irrevocably Talented. She and her students are constantly causing troubles for (school name here) and have continued with their antics since day 1 of their rivalry.
But now, due to the government taking land, the schools have to combine! What will happen from there? Grab your keyboard and decide.
