I want a tablet.
Like, more than anything at the moment.
I can't wait to get my hands on the one I want.
I can draw and practice so much easier, and it'll be a lot easier to publish my work.
Art is a passion. It's my biggest hobby. Animation is my second career choice. I don't know what it is about art, but god, I love it so much. For me, it's the deepest expression of the human spirit. Literature, poetry, and painting. Without them, we'd be robots. I love the beauty of expression. Even if the worst compositions have value if they have meaning behind them.
It's also one of the few things in my life that I'm willing to work on. I admit it, I'm lazy. But I have dreams of being a great artist and illustrator. I know what I need to work on, but it doesn't make me nervous. I love working on it. It makes me feel happy and whole. Even just doodling, it's so soothing and I feel like I'm getting something accomplished... like I'm connecting to the deepest part of myself. Like I'm connecting to myself in a past life, painting buffalo on cave walls.
Anyone who doesn't support art in schools is a fool. A cynical, bitter fool. There are few things more amazing than expressing yourself, however it may be.
Children need the opprotunity to explore themselves, their world, and their talents through art. Not cut-and-paste. But, give them scissors, markers, glue, and all that, and let them create. Let them decide.
In my opinion, too many children aren't given the chance to decide for themselves. Even something small like that can open so many doors. Honestly, I think the fact that I'm so into art helps me connect to other people, and myself.

Art is life.
And so is anthropology. xd
