Voice: Generally, his voice takes on a husky tone from underused chatting as he avoids talking. It's not because he likes the quiet though. He just doesn't like making a fool of himself as he tends to make outbursts and speaks too bluntly for people's likings.

Why? Constantly, Cyrus must deal with patients, and more than a few can't help but die no matter what. In those cases, Cyrus thinks through the patient's eyes, and can't help but be afraid. It would be horrible to be dieing, and yet, not even be able to see anyone you love, to just suffer as doctors try to rescue their lives in vain.
